Ověření účinnosti skupinové práce s pacienty po získaném poškozením mozku / Effectiveness of group work with acquired brain injury patients

Benda, René January 2017 (has links)
Aquired brain injury (ABI) of various etiology is one of the major causes of health impairment, disability and death in adult population. It has a wide scale of physical, psychological and social consequences impacting the lives of patients and their relatives. Neuropsychological rehabilitation (individual and group) has become an integrated part of the complex rehabilitation of ABI supported by evidence-based research and practice. Theory and research suggest new perspective on psychotherapy and its role in this process, though its use in the Czech republic may be limited. The goal of the theoretical part of this thesis was to explore the status of the knowledge and practice of neuropsychological rehabilitation of ABI with focus on group work and psychotherapy and their effectiveness. The empirical part aimed to analyze effectiveness of short-term group dynamic psychotherapy in sample of patients with ABI. The intervention was applied in a realistic setting of two selected rehabilitation centers. The patients completed European Brain Injury Questionnaire for Patients (EBIQ-P) and Zung's Self-rating Depression Scale pre-, after 6 weeks and post- intervention covering researched symptoms. The results suggest that there was a significant change in perception of various categories of problems...

Izolace a stanovení struktur proteinů: hexamerin potemníka Tribolium Castaneum a TmpH fága phi812 / Isolation and determination of the structure of hexamerin of Tribolium castaneum and TmpH protein of phi812 phage.

Valentová, Lucie January 2019 (has links)

Anthology of Unspoken: Surreal Complexity of Mind / Anthology of Unspoken: Surreal Complexity of Mind

Hrádková, Jana January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis Anthology of Unspoken is a form of personal therapy, a coping mechanism in the shape of an extensive personal research presented by visually eclectic web, which maps the perception of depression and melancholy in terms of historical, artistic, and partly academic discourse. AoU takes the form of a website on the border of an archive and a research blog, which visually reminds a notebook with the use of texts in the form of notes, reader view essays, and accompanying visual material (period paintings, pop-cultural references, emoticons etc.). This diploma thesis has two main goals. Firstly, it represents a way of finding means to articulate and at least fractionally understand my own problems. Secondly, it is a way of finding answers to the following questions: Is depression really a modern matter of the 21st century? Why is it so difficult to talk about it? Where do the shame and feeling of guilt, with which it is inextricably associated with, come from? Is melancholy synonymous with depression, or do these terms differ from each other? And is depression really a disease or is it only a sign of my own failure?

Supervizní práce s výtvarnou expresí / Supervision with Visual Art Expression

Hanzlová, Andrea January 2017 (has links)
Title: Supervision with Visual Art Expression Author: Bc. Andrea Hanzlová ABSTRACT Although art expression has been widely used in both art therapy and supervision in the Czech Republic, its distinctive features, added value and possible drawbacks in supervision have been researched less extensively than in art therapy. Here I explore what art expression brings into supervision, what new perspectives it can offer and what obstacles may dissuade supervisors from employing certain approaches. A qualitative content analysis of semi- structured interviews on the sample of 12 respondents revealed four thematic areas: Definition of creative art process, phases and content; Drawbacks and Benefits of working with art expression; The role of education in used methods and approaches. The results show an unexpectedly wide range of methods that Czech supervisors and supervisees employ when dealing with art expression in supervision, as well as the extent or absence of some approaches. One possible reason could be the lack of legislative anchoring compared to countries such as the UK and USA. Key words: expression, visual creative process, artefact, expressive therapy, art therapy, supervision, supervision of art therapies

In addition to the general criteria for entering treatment, a cut-off of min. third week of treatment. The research group consisted of 22 patients with an average age of 39 years. The obtained data were analyzed mainly by means of content analysis of focus groups, based on the method of grounded theory. The research used 3 types of questionnaires focused on the current feelings of patients, appetite for addictive substances and evaluation of predefined problems that commonly occur in treatment. Milota, Tomáš January 2020 (has links)
This thesis includes set of published experimental results, which were obtained at the Department of Immunology, Second Faculty of Medicine Charles University within the project focused on the basal and applied research of the Primary immunedeficiencies (PID), particularly Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID). The first, theoretical part, is divided into two sections. The first section is dedicated to the general aspects of Primary antibody deficiencies (PAD). The second section is focused on epidemiology, ethiopathogenesis, classification, clinical and therapeutical aspects of CVID. The main consideration is devoted particularly to non-infectious complications, which significantly contribute to morbidity and mortality of CVID patients. The second part consists of the set of publications describing specific mechanisms of immune system dysregulation and their clinical manifestation, which are briefly commented. The spectrum of issues resolved within the project covers following basic aspects: 1) characteristics of lung complications in CVID from the point of view of bronchial asthma, 2) characteristics of associated malignancies, 3) significance of genetic background for the specific treatment, 4) therapy of CVID focused on aspects of immunoglobulin substitution. The results of the other...
