Acoustic pressure in environment protection programs of developed countries is the one of most important issue after air and water pollution. Acoustic pressure is all around us, such like machines, traffics and some other things. It is not possible to completely stop the noise, but there are some certain ways were used to reduce it up to acceptable limits. The aim of this work is to measure the acoustic noise and find solution to reduce it. The first measurements were done indoor (workplace studio) focused on room acoustic. We measured the acoustic pressure for three heights in different places,but finally the most important results were selected and compared with respect to each others. The next measurements were performed outdoor to collect the results about spread of the noise, which were analyzed with certain limits. The main goal was to find how to safe the human health and maintain peaceful and healthy environmental.

The number children and young people with high blood pressure has been increasing. The current lifestyle is one of the contributing factors to the disease. The most adverse is poor quality diet and excessive intake of salt. Further, the energy expenditure is lower, e.g. due lack of physical activities. Many children and young people do not have enough information about the risks of high blood pressure and its prevention. It is critical to identify groups with a risk of hypertension, i.e. children and young people with the so-called ?high normal? blood pressure. At the beginning we set four objectives: to learn the blood pressure measuring techniques suitable for children ? using digital and mercury tonometers, to find 25 ? 30 children with the ?high normal? blood pressure, to instruct nurses, particularly in the primary care, about the correct technique of blood pressure measurement in children and to compare the values of blood pressure measured with mercury and digital tonometers. The research was conducted in basic and secondary schools in České Budějovice and in a pediatric surgery. The researched group consisted of children and young people aged 13 ? 18. To achieve the first objective we measured blood pressure in 613 children with a digital tonometer and to achieve the second objective we measured blood pressure in 50 children both with mercury and digital tonometers. The results have been presented in form of tables. We found out that it was not necessary to examine more children, as we had expected, to get a sample group of 30 children with the ?high normal? blood pressure. Further, we found out that there was no significant difference between the values measured with a mercury tonometer and with a digital tonometer. The results have shown that it is essential to use the correct technique for blood pressure measurement in children. Based on our findings we have developed an educational material for nurses.

Ošetřovatelská péče o pacienty s kraniocerebrálním poraněním / Nursing care for patients with craniocerebral trauma

The topic of this thesis is ?Nursing care for patients with craniocerebral trauma?. Three goals were set. We tried to find what the specifics of nursing care for patients with craniocerebral trauma are. We also examined whether nurses were aware of the specifics of nursing care for patients with craniocerebral trauma. The last goal was to find out whether nurses used basal stimulation in these patients. The research was based on a non-standardized interview. The interviews were performed with twelve nurses caring about these patients in the České Budějovice Hospital and the Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady. Three research questions were set. 1: What are the specifics of nursing care for patients with craniocerebral trauma? The research has shown that elevated head position, monitoring of GCS, pupil state and response, administering of bolus analgosedation doses in some nursing activities, ensuring detention administration and list of valuables are the specifics. We have also included CT examination, pre-operation preparation, care of invasive inputs, drains, operation wounds, careful handling with patients, constipation problems, care of a disturbed or aggressive patient and special approach to communication with these patients. 2: Are nurses aware of the specifics of nursing care for patients with craniocerebral trauma? We found that respondents knew the above mentioned specifics. However we found two drawbacks. The first one was in the unawareness of the possibility to increase ICP during defecation among the respondents, the other one was in communication with disturbed or aggressive patients. 3: Do nurses use basal stimulation in patients with craniocerebral trauma? The research has shown that the respondents do apply the concept of basal stimulation, but they only use some of the stimulation elements. This thesis may serve as study material for new nurses starting at the department, where they will care about these patients. The research results and the Standard nursing procedure of Basal stimulation elaborated by us will be offered to managers of both the hospitals where the interviews with nurses were performed.

This diploma thesis focuses on incorrect inflation and incorrect use of tires in extreme situations. In the first part, a search of previously created works is reported. This is followed by the elaboration of the basic theory, which describes the driving dynamics of the vehicle, braking and construction, marking, wear and inflation of tires. The next part is the measurement and evaluation of the effect of incorrect inflation and use of tires. Braking deceleration and evasive maneuvers were performed as tests. The third part is an evaluation and summary of the situation.

The aim of the thesis is the design, manufacture and testing of the experimental chamber for SLM 280HL from company SLM Solutions. The main task of the experimental chamber is to increase the temperature of the preheating of the powder bed from the original 200 °C to at least at 400 °C. The device will be used to investigate the influence of high process temperature on the properties of printed materials. The thesis also deals with the design of the powder applicator for elevated temperatures.

The approaches of standards and software are solved in the form of research. The practical part describes the developed software, selected technologies for development and results of the demonstration. The demonstration was carried out on two geometries and was successful.

Author: Bc. Michaela Tejnecká Title: The effect of regularly applied Nordic walking on selected cardiorespiratory parameters in adults after heart valve surgery. Aim: The aim of this work was to analyze the effect of six months of Nordic walking intervention on selected casrdiorespiratory parameters in adults after heart valve surgery. Methods: The study included ten individuals (mean age 62 years) who were at least five years apart after heart valve surgery. Blood pressure (BP) was measured using a pulsed wrist tonometer, blood oxygen saturation (BOS) and heart rate (HR) were measured using a pulse oximeter, and the ejection fraction of the heart (EF) was evaluated echocardiographically. Nordic walking training units took plaxe once a week for 6 months. During this intervention, the level of training gradually increased both in distance and elevation of the terrain. Results: In all probands there was an average reduction in systolic blood pressure during exercise by an average of 10,3 mmHg and a reductionin heart rate during exercise by an average of 24 beats per minute. The resting ejection fraction increased by an average of 5,5% after six month intervention. These changes were statistically significant (p<0,01).
