This thesis deals with the design and realization of a prototype of non-invasive blood pressure monitor based on the principle of Korotkoff sound detection. The design compares this method of measuring blood pressure with other methods. This design of an automated measuring system, which is controlled by a microprocessor, utilizes the scanning of Korotkoff sounds with an electret microphone placed in the cuff. The microphone signal is then amplified, filtered and adjusted for evaluation. The prototype uses processor-controlled inflation by the compressor and deflation of the cuff by a valve that is open without applied voltage.

This thesis is concerned with the measurement of physical quantities. Thesis describes sensors in general terms and requirements, which delivers latest trends in the field of automation. The main theme of this thesis is sensors for meassuring pressure, and their connection to the automation chain. In the next part thesis describes the design of the converter for connecting SMART sensors for pressure measuring, that use HART communication protocol, to the automation systems managed by a communication protocol IO-link. First will be described in detail various communication standards by their ISO OSI model, and on this theoretical basis will be based design of converter between communication protocol HART and communication protocol IO-Link. The last part will be Designed software for this converter.

This thesis describes the design work for the measurement of air values. The first part describes the airflow, pressure build-up in pipes and losses due to airflow losses. There is also a description of fans and explain their characteristics depending on the pressure generated by airflow. The next part describes the design of the measuring chamber, electronics and control for fully automatic measurement of air quantities.

The thesis deals with the measurement of the elastic modulus of concrete in existing structures and possibilities of applicability of equations for the calculation of characteristic values of concrete compressive strength on the modulus of elasticity. The modulus of elasticity is determined by dynamic and static methods on specimens taken from the concrete blocks, whose composition varies by a water cement ratio and varying amounts of admixtures. In conclusion, the results of the measurements are compared and the characteristic values of the modulus of elasticity is determined.

This thesis deals with the evaluation of noise exposure in the agricultural cooperative Hosín ? Dobrejovice. The aim of this work was to measure noise levels in the dairy barn area and its surroundings, during these processes work: milking, feeding, removal of excrement, bedding etc. Measurements were carried out in summer and autumn. During the measurement noise was the largest source of agricultural equipment. The results revealed that noise pollution resulting from the operation of agricultural cooperatives Dobrejovice is fair and negative influence on noise pollution does not occur.

RNDr. Josef Málek, DSc. Abstract: The viscosity of the fluids involved in hydrodynamic lubrication typically depends on pressure and shear rate. The thesis is concerned with steady isothermal flows of such fluds. Generalizing the recent results achieved in the case of homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions, the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions subject to the boundary conditions employed in practical applications will be established. The second part is concerned with numerical simulations of the lubrication flow. The experiments indicate that the presented finite element method is successful as long as certain restrictions on the constitutive model are met. Both the restrictions involved in the theoretical results and those indicated by the numerical experiments allow to accurately model real-world lubricants in certain ranges of pressures and shear rates. The last part quantifies those ranges for three representative lubricants. The diploma thesis is focused on analysis of noise level of mobile power vehicles in relation to motor operation mode and its evaluation. The thesis core lies within measurement of acoustic pressure levels at four vehicles in different motor operation modes by two audio-noise meters. One meter was places within the cabin, the other outside. The results of the work showed a development in reducing noise at modern power vehicles.

This dissertation deals with a development of a laser welded common rail with a radially attached RPS sensor of pressure. The new concept required by Bosch Diesel s.r.o. Jihlava should be more modifiable and it should be easily integrated with the engine compartment. In this dissertation I suggested a number of concepts that I further analysed, verified in appropriate software, developed, and finally narrowed the selection down to the most suitable solution, which is recommended and justified in the conclusion.

The diploma thesis deals with the observation of the values of selected parameters (especially the static modulus of elasticity) of light-weight concrete in compression before and after multiple cyclic loading. The deformation of test specimens during multiple cyclic loading were measured with resistive strain gauges. Test specimens (cylinders with a diameter of 150 mm and height of a 300 mm) were cyclically loaded and up to 4 500 loading cycles were performed. The aim of this thesis is assessment changes in the values of static modulus of elasticity depending on the number of loading cycles.

This diploma thesis is focused on building survey and evaluating the state of existing constructions. Process of evaluating the state of existing constructions and selected diagnostic methods are described in the theoretical part. The practical part is dealing with performed structural and technical survey of two industrial structures including evaluation of the strength of concrete and verification of the reinforcement. The final part includes assessment of both of the evaluated structures.
