The aim of this thesis is to analyze the material flow in a company located at the second stage of the supply. Material flow is monitored in terms of logistics. The focus becomes reducing production lead times due to optimized inventory. In the theoretical section briefly summarizes the nature of material flow and the means used to optimize inventory. The content of the practical part is a detailed conflict of manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations, which will be the basis for possible suggestions to improve all material flow.

The object of this Master`s thesis is the river training of the Luha river in Jeseník nad Odrou. The thesis is divided into several chapters. In the theoretical introduction, the problems of the sediment flow regime are discussed. Moreover, it deals with the questions associated with the roughness in open channels and adjustment of riparian zones. As a part of the overall proposal of the flow adjustment, the hydraulically most suitable cross section in cunette is proposed. It is done with respect to the desired velocity ratios in the profile. Since the new cunette shape was established, the adjustment of vertical alignment was proposed. The thesis also contains the capacity assessment of the existing channel. Design of adjustment of flood protection measures includes mainly spatial rearrangement and increase the crest of levees with respect to the local conditions. The thesis also suggests the placement of vegetation in the riparian zones. Furhermore, the work deals with problems arising from the flow adjustment considering applicable laws and regulations of the Czech Republic. In the case of project implementation, it is necessary to evaluate these problems independently.

The subject of this diploma thesis is to improve the manufacturing of ISO standard valves using basic Lean manufacturing methods. Focus was at two levels, the macro level dealing with auxiliary processes for the whole manufacturing area and the micro level looking at removal of waste in the processes on one particular production cell.

This thesis refers about the optimalization of internal business logistics system. This thesis want to explore and propose new solutions to the system of internal transport of material in a manufacturing company. The aim is find a suitable methodology for the problem and aplication this methodology to the particular case. The practical part describes the specific case of the production system in the Bosch Diesel s.r.o. at his plant in Jihlava. Description includes an overview of the current state of the logistical arrangements and problems that a rise from the current state. Compares the current state with the proposed state and investigates the various pros and cons. Part of the analysis is a computer simulation of the transport system, which has been support to confirming the appropriateness of the proposed solutions.

Presented thesis entitled “Process performance analysis” deals with problems in identification of the causes of the increasing cost and declining quality of the products, their minimization or complete removal. Further analysis will address the cost of low quality, serving as a basis for possible recovery of the fleet. All material presented in this thesis were collected in the company of NEVOGA, s r.o. engaged in manufacturing parts for the construction industry.

The present thesis is focused on calculation prediction of characteristic parameters of combustion process in combustion chamber which is installed at burners testing laboratory. In the thesis basic theoretical knowledge needed for description of heat transfer in process combustion equipment are given. The Plug Flow Furnace Model is based on this knowledge. This model is used to evaluation of specific heat flux in tube furnaces. In the next step the Plug – Flow model is modified and adapted on the combustion chamber. Obtained results are compared with a measured data. By this comparison quality of this model is assessed.

The master‘s thesis focuses on the design of mobile application for web portal Hlidani.eu on Android platform. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes problems and terms concerning mobile applications. The thesis uses selected analytical methods to analyze the current state of web portal Hlidani.eu. Based on these results, the application itself is designed.

This thesis aims to explore possible implementations and optimizations of the lattice-Boltzmann method. This method allows modeling of fluid flow using a simulation of fictive particles. The thesis focuses on possible improvements of the existing tool HemeLB which  is designed and optimized for bloodflow modeling. Several vectorization and paralellization approaches that could be included in this tool are explored. An application focused on comparing chosen algorithms including optimizations for the lattice-Boltzmann method was implemented as a part of the thesis. A group of tests focused on comparing this algorithms according to performance, cache usage and overall memory usage was performed. The best performance achieved was 150 millions of lattice site updates per second.

The subject of this thesis are the rheological properties of cement paste with the addition of amorphous silicon dioxide. The basic rheological parameters are that describe the behavior of cement pastes in the fresh state. The work also included rheological tests including measurement principle and method of evaluation. Effect of mineral admixtures with high content of amorphous SiO2 is summarized the available scientific articles. In the experimental part, the effects of impurities with a high content of amorphous SiO2 on the rheological properties of fresh cement paste. It was tested by substitution of up to 10 % by weight of cement in the cement pastes mineral admixtures of different chemical composition, particle size and pozzolanic activity. Flow measurement was measured yield value, viscosity, and flow index. The stability of cement pastes was investigated oscillatory measurements. To complement the behavior pastes in the fresh state was determined by calorimetry. Test results were compared with those determined by reference samples and compared the effect of various ingredients.

The diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of production management tools in the form of modern ICT technologies. The final solution, divided into software and hardware part, assists the company in applying the principles of lean manufacturing and the theory of constraints. The work includes a proposal that helps to increase enterprise productivity and eliminates excess inventory in the organization.
