This work reflects and compares the different aspects of studies in two various programes ? the dramatical acting at an art secondary school and alternative forms of acting at AMU. Furthermore, its main goal is to define the personal approach to the theatre sphere (both creative and practical part) from my own point of view. It also attempts to track the mutual influence between tradition and experiment, based on the experience gained. It is established that the functionality and communication of an artwork stands before the perception of its aesthetics, which is and always will be largely individual.

Společenský život na venkově / Social Life in Rural Area

Kučerová, Kamila January 2016 (has links)
This submitted thesis concerns itself with social life in the countryside, specifically in Peruc, located in Ústecký kraj. The paper consists of two parts. The first, theoretical part, describes particular expressions, out of which some have been further researched and worked upon in the context of personal research. On the basis of available printed materials a description of the village has been drawn in a geographical, historical and contemporary aspect. The practical part provides a research plan and a choice of appropriate methods for research and data collection. An analysis of demographic indexes has been conducted and four semi-standardized interviews with the village and local organisations' representatives have been implemented for a better understanding of the social situation. Out of the spectrum of methods belonging to quantitative methodology, a survey type of research has been used to confirm or refute set hypotheses, which was followed by a discussion and a recommendation for the village and local organisations' leaders. Recommended suggestions could contribute to ameliorating social life in the village and therefore increasing general well-being and augmenting the village's grade. At the end the thesis has been shortly summarized, followed by a description of the most intriguing research findings.

Verdickt, Dana January 2016 (has links)
This thesis explores the view on symbol, body and freedom in Paul Ricoeur's and Olivier Clément's work. The aim is to analyse symbols and explore the benefits they can have for modern society, Western culture and how can these symbols influence people. This topic indirectly allows understanding of the role of tradition, rituals, narrations, myths and traditional wisdom in nowadays Western society. Analýza českých překladů názvů raných anglických dramat (do r. 1850) / Analysis of Czech Translations of Early English Drama Titles (until 1850)

PECHOVÁ, Hana January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with Czech translations of English drama titles until 1850, as they are collected in the KAPRADÍ database. It consists mostly of translations of Shakespeare's dramas, but other titles range from medieval moralities and mystery plays to romantic drama. The titles are analysed both from the points of chronology and of genre. The thesis is trying to prove the hypothesis that a translation of a literary title reflects both the epoch of its translation and the genre in which it is written. Not only literary methodology classificating titles is used but also the theory of proper names (onomastics) is applied, which means that a literary title is considered a proper name in its own right.
