Prožívání a manifestace "řeckosti" v České republice / Sentiment and Manifestation of Greekness in the Czech republic

Spanosová, Bubulina January 2010 (has links)
In the late 1940s and 1950s Czechoslovakia accepted nearly 14000 political refugees from Greece. In this paper we examine the Greekness of those who chose to stay in the Czech Republic. We analyse their current sense of ethnic allegiance and how it is manifested, after more than 60 years of co-existence with Czechs. Our analysis is based on cultural elements (language, folklore, music, food, religion), which appear to be important factors of ethnic identification for Greeks in the Czech Republic and Greeks in general. We juxtapose the Greek and the Czech-Greek perception of them. We attempt to illuminate the singularity of the Czech-Greeks and uncover the conditions that led to it. Thus we simultaneously acknowledge the varied Greekness of the Czech-Greeks as legitimate.

Rehabilitace historického jádra a přilehlého okolí města Kyjov se zaměřením na veřejný prostor / The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space

Podivínská, Adéla January 2018 (has links)
Kyjov is causing me to have four passwords – it's a small town, tradition, affection and understanding. Small town as in salvation in the modesty, the picturesqueness of knowledge. The tradition, which are for city important and based on them. They are, for example, folk songs, costume, feast, dialects and all that yet remained of the past. Affection is the quality of the architecture, which, although already expired, but still her remains remain. And the last password understanding, and especially in chanting traditions, the preservation of its values, grasping and grappling or finding your uniqueness. At work I dedicate spaces around Kyjovka from Boršov the south end of the city. I try to just flow so neprotékal, but to engage in the urban environment of Kyjov. I have several places that I've re-energise, give them value and use the reserves for the thickening building. These spaces have a new application and are a place to stop, lift up the city and open to visitors and current residents. Kyjovka communicates not only with parks, but even with the new buildings and its features, you will be able to get closer to the stream and found in it a place to rest, but also to entertain or to walk.

Folklorní mejdlo: současný folklorismus v Praze / "Folklorní mejdlo": Contemporary Folklorism in Prague

Hrbáčková, Anežka January 2017 (has links)
Prague as space, inside of which music of various genres is being created and performed, linked to different values, being created on foundations of distinct concepts and serving as a medium of various strategies, is characterized by fluid and difficult to grasp soundscape (Shellemay 2006). This environment allows the creation and negotiation of traditions (Glassie 1995), moving into different directions. One of them, which have a recursive character and serves its actors as the construction of meaning and carrying out sociocultural change for its actors, is connected with the concept of folklore. The presented fieldwork examines this part of contemporary Prague soundscape in the field, framed by one of the music and dance events. The regular event, named by the organizers "Folklorní mejdlo", defines itself as a connection of the world of modernity, which is currently offered in the metropolis, and the world of traditions, authenticity and folklore. The fieldwork aims its focus on the way the concepts of authenticity and legitimacy are negotiated, its assigning to individual actors and objects and generally how the actors of the event undertake the construction of folklore and how the final product looks like. This work, with its approach to music as a social act (Turino 2008) endorses the...

Jacopo Sannazaro a pastorální básnictví / Jacopo Sannazaro and Pastoral Poetry

Rubý, Michal January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this work is to examine the pastoral theme in literature, including its origin, the main characteristics, and its transformation from ancient times until the Renaissance, with particular focus on the author's originality, cultural environment, and social progress. This work is divided into five chapters and the conclusion. The second chapter deals with the origin of this genre and analyses idyllic poetry of the Greek poet Theokritos and his Roman follower Vergilius who introduced the pastoral tradition in literature. The third chapter focuses on the persistence of this tradition during the Middle Ages, and the manner in which the theme was incorporated into Christian literature. The Boccaccio's stories of nymphes and shepherds will be analysed. The fourth chapter explores the arrival of humanism and introduces the figure of Lorenzo de'Medici whose pastoral compositions carry on the tradition of mythic Arcadia wherein the shepherds suffer repeatedly the anguish of unhappy love. The popularity of this genre exceeds the limits of humanism and impacts the renaissance poets as well. The fifth chapter presents the life and work of Jacopo Sannazaro. The sixth chapter is dedicated to the analysis of Sannazaro's pastoral novel Arcadia. The conclusion compares the influence of ancient literature...
