International trade is becoming increasingly important with the development of the world economy. The development of the world economy is connected to the process of internationalization and globalization of the world economy. Due to produces new business opportunities. Enterprises should come in front of new opportunities and be open to the world market. The aim of the thesis is to identify risk factors for internationalization process of small and medium-sized enterprises. The partial goal is to determine whether small and medium-sized enterprises perceive less risk when trading with neighboring countries and whether in internationalization process plays the role of psychic distance. Part of the thesis is to analyze the current state of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Hirš, P. Determinants of house prices in and around Brno. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. The aim of this thesis theoretically and empirically analyzes determinants which substantially affect the price of apartments in and around Brno. For the analysis of the prices of apartments are used selling prices of apartments from a database of a real estate. Data are processed by using the method of least squares (OLS) through program Gretl. The work also describes the current state of the property market and its functioning, including familiarization with the works of other authors. In conclusion, the results of the analysis of selling prices of apartments are evaluated including a comparison with existing works dealing with this topic.

This thesis analyzes the labor market in the administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence Veselí nad Moravou in the period 2001 to 2011. In the analysis came selected indicators of the labor market, emphasis was placed on the unemployment rate, the economic activity rate and the number of job applicants per one vacancy. MEP was analyzed as a whole and then the individual municipalities were divided into clusters using cluster analysis.

Matušková, E.: Innovation within the framework of the commodity vertical line of tomatoes on the French market Master's thesis. Brno, 2015 This Diploma thesis deals with the sector of fresh tomatoes on the French market. The thesis is focused on the issue of tomato quality and describes various factors having an impact on the quality of tomatoes. The theoretical part presents the fundamental characteristics of the industry and examines the structure of investigated commodity chain and the relationship between the individual factors. Last but not least, the first part also looks into tomato quality and various procedures of its certification. The second part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the structure of cultivars currently proposed at the French market's supply. Furthermore, it explains various factors influencing the quality of the final product and describes different chains of events that may occur throughout the entire production process. The investigation of the chosen issue was based on a series of interviews with experts in the field. The collected data were analyzed through a framework of the analytical grid. The main conclusion of this study is that the problem of collective reputation of the product reveals itself to be crucial in this matter. The last part of this thesis examines the application of the labeling policy as a possible solution for making the French tomato market more transparent and to limit the decrease of tomato quality. The collected data can be further used to assess the future development as well as anticipate the possible forthcoming mutations of the fresh tomato market in France.

The objective of this Diploma thesis is to identify the characteristic features of development and structure of agriculture in Taiwan. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the character of agricultural sector in general. It defines its specific features, current roles and position in national economy and global market in terms of modern agribusiness. The analytical part consists of the analysis of development trends and factors that formed current agricultural sector in Taiwan. In particular, this part of the work examines trends and tendencies in the commodity composition of agricultural production and defines the current position and role of agricultural sector in Taiwanese economy. At the same time, it evaluates the former influence of agriculture on other sectors of Taiwanese economy. Subsequent part examines the territorial and commodity structure of Taiwan's agricultural international trade. Common features of agricultural sector position in Taiwan and other national economies of Asia-Pacific countries are identified through the cluster analysis.

This diploma thesis defines the evolution and changes of canola commodity chain in Czech Republic focusing on primary production and processing stage. Through literature review, based on the theoretical and methodological foundations of agribusiness, canola commodity chain, its determinants, and biological charac-teristics of the commodity are defined. Through analysis of secondary data is captured supply formation and evolution of oilseed rape production in the Czech Republic. Also there are identified changes in the structure of agricultural holdings in given commodity vertical.

This thesis aims to characterize the beer market in the Czech Republic, determine factors that affect the market and identify the modern trends in our country and in the world. The main objective of this thesis is to characterize the ideal restaurant environment based on consumer preferences, using a suitable marketing questionnaire. Obtained data and their analysis should be beneficial to both existing and emerging businesses of the beer market. Market research took place in Brno and its surroundings through quantitative data collection in electronic form. Based on this marketing research, it was determined how ideal company should look like and what beer and other assortment it should offer. I gathered information from available literature, the Internet and scientific articles.

The aim of this thesis is characterize fundamental trends in agriculture in region Jizni Morava. Analyzes the developement of crop and livestock production focusing on selected agricultural commodities, compares with another regions in Czech republic and shows a survey of selected enterprises surveyed region. The thesis shows and assess the situation before the Czech republic joined the European union in 2004 and the subsequent changes that occured after the introduction of the EU Common Agricultural Policy.

Diploma thesis focuses on the problem of unemployment in South Moravian Region compared with the Vysočina Region. The main goal of this work is to analyze the evolution of unemployment in the years 2002 -- 2012 in JMK and compare it with the development in Vysočina Region. The results of the analysis and subsequent comparison show that the labour market situation in JMK and Vysočina Region is not favorable. In the most problematic areas were prepared some recommendations that could help to reduce unemployment in the region.

In age management, it should be ensured that every employee or job applicant has the opportunity to utilise their potential and not be at a disadvantage because of his/her age. Age management is not exclusively focused on one age group, the focus is very broad and covers all age categories of workers. Regarding the age management focused on a group of employees that are of an older age (approximately 50 years), it is expected to have an excellent knowledge of the age structure of employees in the company, fair approach to aging, appreciation for diversity, etc. The aim of the thesis is to determine the factors affecting the employment of persons 50 years and older in the labor market in the countries of the Visegrad agreement, to compare these factors for each of the countries, identify differences and similarities of age management in labor markets and propose recommendations for employers or possible output considerations for management.
