This diploma thesis deals with the credit crunch in the model of disequilibrium in the credit market. The basis of the empirical analysis is the application of methods of maximum likelihood on the modified time series. Using this method will be by estimated each function of supply and demand, on the basis of which will be determined by the individual disequilibrium. The results from the overall analysis will help us make recommendations for policy-makers

The diploma thesis deals with the employability of business graduates in the la-bour market and the average period of rate of return of the investment to the education. To accomplish the goals of the thesis quantitative survey was realized on graduates of four business schools in South-Moravian and Moravian-Silesian district. Based on the results of the survey factors affecting the employability of graduates in the labour market were identified. The factors were also identified and compared through the universities separately. The average period of rate of return was computed with a ratio of added value to the university educated salary and total amount of the study costs. Literature review discusses the issue of labour market, graduates and human capital.

Diploma thesis deals with the liberalization of postal services in the Czech republic. The aim of the thesis is to identify the economic benefits and disadvantages, that are associated with the liberalization of the postal markets in the EU Member States, and evaluate their relevance and possible implications for the Czech market of postal services. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the liberalization of postal services in the European Union and then in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, there is Czech post market monitored. Practical part of diploma thesis then continues postal markets of the EU countries, that opened their postal markets to competition much earlier than the Czech Republic. The experiences from the liberalization of these countries are then used to predict the effects of liberalization for the Czech postal market.

The thesis includes analysis of the current state in the Chinese market, complemented by a survey. Based on the results of the research, key risks and barriers influencing Czech SMEs in entering the Chinese market were identified. Also measures to these risks and the typical barriers were proposed to help businesses eliminate them.

The Impact of Cash Crop Export to the EU on the Economic Perfomance in Ghana

ABSTRACT The main objective of this master's thesis is to investigate the relationship between cash crop exports to the European Union from Ghana and its impact on the economic performance of Ghana. It is also aimed at investigating the aftermath of the European Union Directive 2000/36/EC on the Economic development of Ghana by investigating and observing the trend in GDP to access the economic performance of Ghana by looking at cocoa export to the European Union. The study then provides an insight of Ghana and European Union trade relation and then also an overview of Ghana's cash crops with focus on cocoa. It is followed with comparison of the trend in economic growth before and after the implementation of European Union Directive. Econometric and Statistical analysis of secondary data from sources such as International Financial Statistics, International Monetary Fund and the World Bank countries indicators is done. This is followed by analysis of the results, discussion of the results and recommendations based on the results. A brief summary of the thesis is given in the conclusion.

Today's Trends in Coffee Consumption in EU Countries to Compare to non EU Countries

This thesis deals with the topic of coffee consumption. It is divided into two parts connected to each other. The first part sums up theoretical findings from the Czech as well as foreign authors' literature. The second part focuses on coffee consumption itself. First, situation on the coffee market was analysed. Then a market research among students from 8 countries -- Austria, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Italy, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey - was made (using a questionnaire) and results were compared. Based on this research, recommendations for Park Lane Café were brought.

This diploma thesis deals with changes of the reduced value added tax rate on food and their effects on entities in the Czech Republic. The literature overview explains the basic terms in the area of value added tax, and in more details it describes the issue of tax incidence and its consequences. The attention is also concentrated on the food market and on the principles that operate on it. The next part concerns the quantification of the actual development of the reduced value added tax rate and its impact on the distribution of the tax burden. The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the degree of the tax burden distribution arising due to changes in the reduced VAT rate imposed on food in the Czech Republic within the maximum possible length of the time series between buyers, sellers and manufacturers and to compare these results with theoretical assumptions about the distribution of the tax burden between these entities. The partial objective is to evaluate how the determined distribution of the tax burden affects different groups of consumers.

This final work is dedicated to analysis of the demographic-socioeconomic indicators in the Region Vysocina in the period of time 2001 till 2013. The analysis focuses on the structure and dynamics of the population and the labor market situation. There are evaluated factors associated with number of people, its development (birth rate, mortality, migration) and movement (inward and outward commuting to work and schools) and population structure by age. The thesis also focuses on economic structure of population and indicators characterizing the labor market, such as the rate of registered and long-term unemployment and the ratio of supply and demand in the labor market. Appropriate feature of the trend for prediction of the future development until 2020 is used at selected characteristics. From the collected data it is evaluated the socioeconomic condition of Region Vysocina and conclusions serving as recommendations for improving of the situation on the given area.
