PAKOSTA, Radek. Application of modern methods for evaluating the performance of a selected group of companies. Brno, 2014. Diploma thesis. Mendel university in Brno. This thesis discusses the application of EVA as a modern indicator for assessing the performance of companies to a select group of businesses. In this group of enterprices is performed financial analysis and determination of EVA indicator. By using mathematical - statistical methods is searching for the factors that most influence the final value of EVA in the group companies. This is followed by the determination of recommendations to increase the value of EVA in these companies or in the industry in which they operate.

The aim of this study is identification of the macroeconomic indicators, which have an influence on the Czech export to the states of the European Union, namely to Slovakia, Germany and Poland in the years 1999-2013. The partial aim is confirmation or rejection of the fact, that the economic growth in these states has an influence on the Czech export. The analysis is made due to multiple regression models for every state. This study is also focused on the economic crisis in the years 2008-2009 and the influence on the Czech export. Recommendations and suggestions are mentioned in the end of this study.

The intention of this thesis is to evaluate the performance of the FAVEA engineering Ltd. The level of performance of the company will be investigated through absolute, differential and ratios indicators, which will be completed by bankruptcy and creditworthy models. The ability to create value will be analyzed using the concept of economic value added. Similar calculations will be performed in select of competitors. Subsequently, the resulting values of FAVEA engineering Ltd. will be compared with the results of competitors, and on its basis will be identified critical areas of the analyzed company. Suggestions and recommendations that will lead to the improvement of the performance of the company FAVEA Engineering Ltd., will be discussed in the conclusion of work.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create an analysis of the number, structure and demographic dynamics of the population of micro-region Mikulovsko in the years 2003--2013. In that period were analyzed following indicators: birthrate, abortion, mortality, marriage, divorce, migration and overall population growth in the micro-region. Through the use of an appropriate trend function was predicted a development of selected indicators by the year 2018. The reason for the elaboration of this work is the absence of such a detailed analysis of the micro-region development strategy. The work can be used as a basis for its processing.

Málek, L. Strategic Analysis and Plan of a Selected Enterprise. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. The text describes strategic tools that are useful for strategic management of companies. This thesis also includes general recommendations regarding the use of strategic analysis. Part of this work is the selection of an enterprise and an analysis of current situation of the enterprise. The text describes the proposal for the use of specific strategic steps for the selected enterprise. The diploma thesis could serve as a source of information for real companies and entrepre-neurs.

The theme of this diploma thesis is analysis of demographic trends of Olomouc Region in the period 2002--2012. This analysis follows the development of demographic indicators related population, mortality, birth rate, marriage rate, divorce rate and migration. Then we perform the comparison of these parameters with the development of the region in the Czech republic in the same time period. An appropriate trend fiction was used to predict the development of selected demographic indicators up to 2017. The analysis of Olomouc Region I chose because of the lack of analysis in the microregion development strategy.

The subject of the thesis is the comparison of selected socio-demographic indicators ORP Chrudim and ORP Polička. Demographic comparison is based on the population structure and basic demographic processes. This comparison is complemented by selected social indicators. Comparison of some indicators is not selected ORP, but also in the Czech Republic or the European Union and global trends.

This diploma thesis deals with analysis of the company performance and its evaluation. The analysis was performed in the company ABC Trepka, s. r. o., whose main activities are internal dry construction. The analysis of the company's efficiency was conducted on a base of the ratio indicators. In this thesis is mainly used for parallel indicators, namely: profitability ratios, activity ratios, debt ratios and liquidity indicators. The analysis also includes: bankruptcy and reliability indicators, Du Pont analysis. The results were compared with the recommended values.

The aim of this study was to evaluate research of reproduction indicators on the level of milk production and the quality of the milk on selected farm. Materials for processing thesis were obtained on Oldřich Poláček´s Farm Hole. Mr. Poláček´s farm is located in Central Bohemia and manages 380 ha of arabe land. The farm bred Holstein cows, for now there are 190 dairy cows of this breed. The indicators of milk production and reproduction were observed from 2013 to 2015. Results of the observed farm were compared with results of milk yield of Holstein cattle breeders association in the Czech Republic. The data were analyzed and statistically processed using SAS 9.3 (SAS / STAT; 9.3, 2011). To determine the basic parameters of the files were used MEANS procedures and UNIVARIATE. Evaluation of milk yield and indicators of reproduction was based on the results obtained from the recorded milk production of cows done by Holstein cattle breeders association and stable computer system AFIFARM. To evaluate the data were used 104 dairy cows, which had last two standardized lactation completed in the test years from 2013 to 2015 and 121 dairy cows, which had the first standardized lactation completed in 2014 or 2015. For the milk yield were evaluated parameters of kilograms of milk per lactation, kilograms of milk per day, fat (%), protein (%) milk, depending on reproduction (days open, calving interval, age at the first calving) and lactation order. Milk yield on the farm in 2015 was above the national average in Czech Republic. For dairy cows with the first lactation was up to 8 536 kilograms per standardized lactacion, for dairy cows with second lactation was up to 10 928 kg, and for dairy cows with third and more lactation was up to 10 864 kg. The average content of 3,71% fat and 3,28% protein. The influence of lactation negatively impacted % protein (r = -0.278). Conclusiveness was on the significance level (P <0.001). The highest protein content was on the first lactation 3,40%, and lowest in the fifth lactation 3,20%. Statistically failed to demonstrate the influence of the order of lactation on the milk yield per standardized lactation, kilograms of milk and % of fat content. The positive effect was shown between milk yield per lactation in kg and daily milk yield in kg (r = 1). Conclusiveness was on the significance level (P <0,001). The lowest daily milk yield on the first lactation was (30,24 kg) with the production of 9223,06 kg of milk and the highest on the third lactation (47,43 kg) with the production of 14466,76 kg of milk. Increasing of milk production per lactation had a negative effect on the % of fat content (r = -0,137), and % of protein content (r = -0.196). Conclusiveness was on the significance level (P <0.05). With increasing milk production declined % of fat content and % of protein content. Statistically failed to demonstrate the influence of the milk production per lactacion on the open days and the calving interval. Effect was demonstrated between the % of fat content and protein content in % (r = 0,501) at a level of significance (P <0,001). With increasing of fat content in%, increased also the the protein content in %. The lowest protein content (3,20%) was with a 3,66% of fat content. The highest protein content (3,40%) was with a 3,68% of fat content. Age at first calving of dairy cows negatively impacted on % of the fat content of milk (r = -0,186). Conclusiveness was on the significance level (P <0,05). With age increasing at first calving declined % of fat content in milk. There was also demonstrated a connexion between the standardized lactacion and days open (r= 0,227). Conclusiveness was on to the level of significance (P <0,05). With open days increasing the amond of milk per lactacion was higher.

The thesis Economic analysis of a chosen company presents economic performance assessment of the company Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov a. s. during five closed accounting period from 2010 to 2014. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical definition individual methods of economic analysis. Followed the practical part, in this are utilized in processing data emerging from company results of individual analysis. The thesis conclusion offers result data summary and evaluation and provides a baseline for recommendations on future company development.
