Koláčková, E. Potential impact of application IFRS 16. Diploma thesis. Brno. Mendel University in Brno, 2019 The master thesis is focus on methods of reporting lease during the international standard IAS 17 and with methodology of the new international standard IFRS 16. There are showed impacts of the new international standard which will be bring and which possibilities could be changed the entity balance sheet, profit and loss statement of entity. Evaluation of selected indicators was done on five chosen companies, such as debt, profitability or activity indicators.

Thesis focusses on impact of global financial crisis 2008-2009 on Eurozone countries and countries with own currency. This is analysed via chosen macroeconomic indicators from databases of International Monetary Fund and Eurostat. Goal of the thesis is to assess the impact on indicators and provide statistical base for decision, whether membership in Eurozone in times of crisis is beneficial for countries or not. To serve this purpose, models of panel data with fixed and random effects and method Difference in Difference are used.

Helísková, E. The increase of the efficiency of a company with benchmarking. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to propose suitable suggestions to increase the efficiency of the construction company Geprostav, based on the analysis and comparison with the benchmarking partner. In the summary of the literature the basic theoretical information about the method of benchmarking and about the rating of the efficiency of a company has been stated. Besides the description of the index, on which the financial condition of companies is regarded and compared, the Model excellence EFQM is described there. The Model excellence EFQM is the basis of appreciation of the non-financial factors as well. In the next part, the analysed company and the benchmarking partner are introduced. Pursuant the comparing analysis, the significant deficiencies have been identified and suitable measures are suggested.

This dissertation thesis is concerned with the topic of socioeconomic demography in the Zdar nad Sazavou district. The first part is devoted to literary research. It provides readers not only with a definition of the term demography, a survey of demographics but also with division of demographical structure of the population from different perspectives: sex, age, education and marital status. Then, there are described demographical processes such as birthrate, miscarriage rate, death rate, marriage rate, migration and economical activity. The practical part focuses on the development of the number of inhabitants in the Zdar nad Sazavou district in the years 1991 2015 with the prediction for five forthcoming years. The Zdar nad Sazavou district is described in detail from the perspective of demographical structure according to sex, age and education. There are presented the most important indexes: economic activity in the district and the analysis of commuting people. At the end of the thesis, a cluster analysis is made according to demographical, economical and business level.

Práce analyzuje finanční zdraví mobilního operátora T-Mobile na základě rozvahy, výsledovky a výkazu cash-flow z let 2000 ? 2005 a podává tak základní obraz finanční situace společnosti. V diagnostice firmy je zahrnuta horizontální a vertikální analýza zmíněných účetních výkazů, analýza poměrových ukazatelů (rentability, likvidity a aktivity), bankrotní a bonitní modely a závěrečné srovnání vypočtených ukazatelů s dalšími dvěma mobilními operátory ? O2 a Vodafone.

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit finanční a ekonomickou situaci ve společnosti PARAMO, a.s. v letech 2002 ? 2006. V teoretické části je vymezena podstata finanční analýzy a jsou zde popsány jednotlivé metody finanční a ekonomické analýzy. Druhá praktická část obsahuje samotnou analýzu sledované společnosti pomocí metod charakterizovaných v části teoretické. Součástí praktické části je charakteristika sledovaného podniku a zhodnocení jeho finanční a ekonomické situace pomocí horizontální a vertikální analýzy výkazů, poměrové analýzy, analýzy pracovního kapitálu, Du Pontova rozkladu rentability vlastního kapitálu, Altmanova bankrotního modelu, indexů IN a Kralickova Quicktestu. Součástí ekonomické analýzy je analýza efektivnosti pomocí některých analytických ukazatelů a ekonomického normálu.

This thesis is dedicated to the impact of the economic crisis in the transport sector in the Czech Republic, focusing on the road transport sector. This thesis is presented with the brief overview about the origin of the economic crises, what are its causes, impacts and possible prevention, which can prevent this situation. The theoretical part also describes not only the transport sector as whole, its development and current status but also gives further information about road transport. The practical part of this thesis is focused on analyzing macroeconomic indicators in the Czech Republic and determination if their development affected some indicators in the road transportation. The main result of this thesis will be interpreted on the basis of selected statistical methods. The second aim of this thesis is to analyze the impacts of the crisis on the selected company, which conducts in the road transport and propose to this company the options which would allow the impact of the economic crisis on its business activities.

KILIÁNOVÁ, A. Evaluation of the performance of the company REMET, spol. s r.o. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2013. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the perfomance of the company called REMET, spol. s r.o. in years 2006--2012 with using modern indicators. The account sheets and internal company documents were used. Thesis is divided into two parts. The literature review summarizes the approaches to the issue of experts and it is the basis for the second part. In practical part, theoretical knowledge is applied in practice on the selected company REMET spol. s r.o. The financial situation is evaluated, which includes also the spider analysis and bonits and bankruptcies models. Net operating assets, net operating profit after taxis and weighted average costs of capital are estimated, which allows quantification and decomposition of economic value added. In addition there is suggested a design of Balanced Scorecard. In the discussion and conclusion of the diploma thesis is an overall evaluation of the aspects and there are suggested practical solutions of the problematic areas.

Diploma thesis Financial and nonfinancial analysis of Spalovsky Company is dealing with a complex evaluation of chosen company. On the basis of financial statements for the years 2004 -- 2008 is accomplished financial analysis which purveys information about processes in company. As another methods for financial evaluation are chosen overall bankruptcy and credibility models and Quelle methodology. As a basis for nonfinancial indicators were made questionnaires among companies' employees and customers and created two new indexes - People Value Added and Customer Value Added. The last method was selected Pollack's method of companies' vitality. The goals of this thesis are two: the first of all to evaluate the company, characterize strong and weak points and suggest recommendations for improvement. The second goal is to analyze usefulness of selected methodizes and find out in which relation are they (substitutes, components or antagonists).

The aim of the thesis is the application of financial analysis on the financial statements, and balance sheet and profit and loss in 2008-2010. The work is divided into three parts. The first part contains the theoretical background, selected methods of financial analysis. The second part is the application of selected methods for a specific company and the final section contains suggestions for improvement in problem areas.
