Akcelerace ultrazvukové neurostimulace pomocí vysokoúrovňových GPGPU knihoven / Acceleration of Ultrasound Neurostimulation Using High-Level GPGPU Libraries

Mička, Richard January 2021 (has links)
This thesis explores potential use of GPGPU libraries to accelerate k-Wave toolkit's acoustic wave propagation simulation. Firstly, the thesis researches and assesses available high level GPGPU libraries. Afterwards, an insight into k-Wave toolkit's current state of simulation acceleration is provided. Based on that, an approach to enhance currently available code for processors into a heterogeneous application, that is capable of being run on graphics card, is proposed. The outcome of this thesis is an application that can utilize graphics card. If graphics card is unavailable, a fallback into thread and SIMD based acceleration for processor is executed. The product of this thesis is then evaluated based on its performance, maintenance difficulty and usability.

Měření rychlosti šíření ultrazvuku průzvučnou tomografií / Measurement of ultrasound speed using transmission tomography

Pop, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
The study deals with the image reconstructions using the ultrasound propagation speed measuring and it extends the project of the ultrasound transmission tomography organised in cooperation with the research centre Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (Germany). There were data processed which had been gained with the 3D ultrasound transmission tomography system (3D USCT). The ultrasound propagation speed was measured using the detection of ultrasound ray travelling time from a transmitter to a receiver. There were three new algorithms developed for the detection of an ultrasound impulse and the software generating suitable testing data. The developed algorithms were consequently tried with these data and, then, included into the existing software. All software was developed within the Matlab programming environment.

Měření útlumu ultrazvukového vlnění / Ultrasound attenuation measurement

Feller, Michal January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with ultrasound attenuation measurement methods. Variety of methods are developed and tested . Castor oil was used as reference material. Different kinds of ultrasound transducers, hydrophone and ultrasound scanner GE Vingmed SystemFive were used for measurement. Data was processed by scripts developed in matlab.

Měření vlastností ultrazvukového zobrazovacího systému / Jiří Wolf Measurement of the properties of ultrasound system

Wolf, Jiří January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the displaying process evaluation from the resolution capabilities of the ultra-sonic probe point of view. As a part of the thesis a method for measuring the response from point spread function (PSF) and method for measuring the response from linear spread function LSF were designed. Collected data were processed in the Matlab environment. Basic evaluation parameters of the space resolution capabilities were set and used – axial, lateral and traversal resolution.

Měření rychlosti šíření ultrazvuku / Measurement of ultrasound speed

Pouč, Petr January 2009 (has links)
The thesis deals with the ultrasonic velocity measurement. The ultrasonic velocity was determined on basis of ultrasonic flight time from a transmitter to a receiver. Three methods how to determine the ultrasonic velocity in medium were proposed. Special algorithms have been created and later on build in the developed program. All the software was developed in Agilent VEE Pro 8.5. The thesis contains a proposal of two experiments tutorials for the department of Biomedical engineering that will be used during experimental lessons. The experiments deal with ultrasonic velocity measurement.

Systém pro automatické přistávání quadrocopteru. / Autonomous Landing System for Quadrocopter

Vomočil, Jan January 2012 (has links)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of systems for automatic landing and stabilization of air vehicle known as Quadrocopter. It focuses on image processing from a camera placed on board of the robot. The aim of image processing is detect landing target and calculate the distance from the desired position. Further is solved vertical stabilization for higher altitudes. For this function is measured atmospheric pressure. Conversely, for low altitude flight is used a ultrasonic range finder. In the conclusion is solved the implementation of the system.

Ultrazvukový měřicí systém / Ultrasonic measurement system

Ondraczka, Lukáš January 2013 (has links)
The work deals with development and assembly of ultrasonic airflow measurement module for measurement of air flowing around photovoltaic panel. This system allows quantification of photovoltaic panel air cooling. The work contains development of sine wave generator, bridge amplifier and receiver with passive band pass filter, amplifier and comparator. It also deals with digital part realization. This digital part is formed by Renesas 78K0R microcontroller on demo board. The last part of this work contains testing of the whole system in aerodynamic tunnel and on photovoltaic panel installation.

Analýza nejčastějších příčin poškozování jaderného paliva za provozu reaktoru / Analysis of the Most Common Causes of Nuclear Fuel Failures During Operation

Ježek, Martin January 2014 (has links)
Nuclear fuel failures during the reactor operation happen quite often in the world. The theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to the most common causes of nuclear fuel failures. It describes failure mechanism and corrective actions. The unfavorable trends in nuclear fuel behavior are prevented by suitable method of nuclear fuel monitoring. Some of them may affect the safety of the power plant. For example, the fuel assembly bow affects the function of rod cluster control assembly. Another part, which describes inspection methods, is devoted to inspection and repair of nuclear fuel. The thesis concentrates on the Temelin NPP, where there was implemented post-irradiation inspection program for checking compatibility between Westinghouse's fuel assemblies and water chemistry of reactor VVER. This program continues even after the change of nuclear fuel supplier. Practical part of this thesis is dedicated to proposal of a new method of fuel assembly bow measurement for Temelin NPP based on ultrasound. This proposal is supported by measurement on the experimental device for detection of spacer grid position developed by Research Centre Rez.
