Diagnostika a terapie intrauterinních patologií spojených s těhotenstvím. / Diagnosis and therapy of intrauterine pathologies associated with pregnancy.

Švabíková, Lucie January 2015 (has links)
Introduction: Actually 0.7-1 percent of all deliveries can be followed by secondary uterine bleeding. There is a residual trophoblastic tissue diagnosed in most of these cases and it is often managed by repeat intrauterine interventions. These operations are connected with high risk of formation of intrauterine adhesions and their early diagnosis and management can be important for next fertility. Material and methods: There were generally 188 patients included into the study. All patients underwent ultrasound examination in 6 weeks after delivery and ambulant hysteroscopy after next 2 months without anesthesia. Described intrauterine pathologies (residual tissue and adhesions) were managed in one step. Results: In cases with suspect ultrasound finding, the retained trophoblastic tissue was diagnosed by hysteroscopy in 66 percent vs. in 96 percent with sensitivity 85 percent and specificity 85 percent. Patients with intrauterine adhesions had normal ultrasound finding in 74 percent and it did not recognized patients with severe adhesions in 94 percent. Clinical signs had generally 72 percent of patients with diagnosed left residual tissue. Number of severe residual tissue is increasing with delay of instrumental evacuation from delivery (10 vs. 30 percent). When is necessary to repeat the operation...

Jihomoravský lignit jako zdroj uhlíkových nanočástic / South-Moravian lignite as a source of carbon nanoparticles

Drozdová, Miroslava January 2021 (has links)
This Master’s thesis deals with isolating carbon nanoparticles from South Moravian lignite using "green" – environmentally friendly methods. This method consists of mechanical-chemical-thermal stressing of lignite using ultrasound, hydrogen peroxide and high temperatures. This work aims to develop recommendations on coal as a source of carbon nanoparticles and based on these recommendations, to design procedures for isolating nanoparticles from South Moravian lignite using environmentally friendly methods. The identified procedures were designed to meet carbon-based particles with an oxidized surface. From the results we can deduct that it is possible to use South Moravian lignite for the preparation of carbon nanoparticles. However, it will be necessary to modify the process further and also to optimize the purification of the obtained particles.

Stanovení indikace k užití cizorodých materiálů v rekonstrukčních operacích pánevního dna. / To determine the indication for the use of synthetic materials in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.

El Haddad, Rachid January 2018 (has links)
Introduction: Pelvic organ prolapse is a major health problem affecting 50% of parous women over the age of 50. The lifetime risk for pelvic floor surgery for prolapse is likely to be between 10 and 20% and a large number of patients require repeat surgery for recurrence. Cochrane review showed that mesh use at the time of anterior repair reduce the risk of recurrence. In our first study we prospectively evaluate the impact of mesh insertion during anterior repair on sexual function and quality of life. Mesh insertion may be associated with significant and in some cases serious adverse events. To justify its use, it seems necessary to identify women at high risk of prolapse recurrence. There is evidence indicating that levator ani avulsion injury is closely associated with prolapse recurrence. The aim of our second and main study was to demonstrate in a prospective randomized way that levator avulsion may be used to identify patients at high risk for failed native tissue prolapse surgery. Methods: The first study prospectively evaluated with validated questionnaires the impact of mesh insertion on quality of life and sexual function. The second study is a single-center, prospective, randomized interventional trial of two standard surgical procedures for post-hysterectomy vaginal vault prolapse in...

Terapeutické využití ultrazvuku u pacientů s cerebrovaskulárním onemocněním. / Therapeutic use of ultrasound in patients with cerebrovascular diseases.

Kuliha, Martin January 2018 (has links)
Background: Sonolysis is an important factor in therapeutic use of ultrasound in patients with cerebrovascular diseases, it is ultrasound induced lysis of thrombus or embolus. The aim of this work was to asses safety and efficacy of therapeutic ultrasound effect (sonolysis) in acute stroke patients and in patients undergoing carotid artery intervention. First partial aim of this work was to confirm the safety and efficacy of endovascular sonolysis by using the EkoSonic Endovascular System in subjects with acute ischemic stroke. Second partial aim of this work was to test the clinical efficacy of sonolysis for reducing the risk of incidence of new brain ischaemic lesions detected on brain magnetic resonance imaging in patients undergoing elective CEA or CAS for severe internal carotid stenosis. In addition, we assessed the effects of sonolysis on cognitive function, morbidity, and mortality at 30 days post-surgery. Methods: Patients with acute ischemic stroke and occlusion of the middle cerebral artery or basilar artery were enrolled consecutively to the prospective study tested safety and efficacy of endovascular sonolysis using the EkoSonic Endovascular System (EKOS) in patients with acute stroke. The control group (44 MCA and 12 BA occlusions) was selected from historical controls. EkoSonic...

Nové ultrazvukové markery aneuploidií v prvém trimestru gravidity / New Aneuploidy Ultrasound Markers in First Trimester of Pregnancy

Břešťák, Miroslav January 2015 (has links)
Prenatal diagnostics is headed in several directions - towards visualization of fetuses and biochemical, cytogenetic and molecular genetic diagnostics in laboratories. Whereas visualization of fetuses does not a priori represent any direct risk for pregnancy and does not increase the number of potential pregnancy complications, this is not always the case with the laboratory testing. There are known risks connected with invasive methods of prenatal diagnostics. The number of potential unintentional pregnancy complications and losses as well as the technical and economic aspects of invasive prenatal diagnostics lead to attempts of identifying ways of detecting any potentially affected individuals by screening methods, thus minimizing the undesirable impact of invasive diagnostics on the pregnant population. The more precise the selective criteria, the lesser the number of pregnant women exposed to invasive exams. Another way of decreasing the number of unintentional complications in relation to invasive diagnostics is to simplify and improve the fetal samples harvesting methods during pregnancy. The work primarily focused on two areas: Determination of the relation between fraction shortening of the left and right ventricles and a fetal chromosomal complement, and verification of reliability of a new method...

Ultrazvuková charakteristika dutiny břišní v průběhu 6 tydnů po císařském řezu / Sonographic characteristics of the abdomen within 6 weeks following cesarean section

Dosedla, Erik January 2017 (has links)
Caesarean section is one of the most frequently performed surgery in medicine. The Cesarean section scar in the uterus can lead to a number of pathological conditions which affect the women reproductive health. In industrialized countries, this issue relates to at least 30% of women, which means that it is a major medical problem. Ultrasound examination of the uterus after Cesarean section includes some specific features, resulting from the rapidly changing dimensions of the uterus, as well as from patient compliance in early puerperium. When dealing with postpartum complications, it is necessary to know the normal ultrasound findings and the dynamic changes of the uterus during puerperium, so that we can better distinguish between the pathological course and the normal course of puerperium. The clinical significance of ultrasound assessment of uterine size and area of the scar after Caesarean section during the postpartum is not yet adequately described. The knowledge of normal ultrasound findings in the uterus after Caesarean section could be helpful in choosing the right treatment in severe cases. We were watching the clinical outcomes of treatment of abnormal Cesarean section scars after their laparoscopic reconstruction. In our study, we have shown that the examination of uterus in early...

Evoluční algoritmy pro ultrazvukovou perfúzní analýzu / Evolution algorithms for ultrasound perfusion analysis

Kolářová, Jana January 2019 (has links)
This master´s thesis is focused on the application of evolutionary algorithms for interleaving data obtained by ultrasound scanning of tissue. The interleaved curve serves to estimate perfusion parameters, thus allowing to detect possible pathophysiology in the scanned area. The theoretical introduction is devoted to perfusion and its parameters, contrast agents for ultrasonic application, ultrasonic modality scanning, optimization, evolutionary algorithms in general and two selected evolutionary algorithms - genetic algorithm and bee algorithm. These algorithms were tested on noisy data obtained from clinical images of mice with tumor. The final part summarizes the results of the practical part and provides suggestions and recommendations for further possible development.

Škůrek, Pavel January 2010 (has links)
This work is focused on the developement of a sensor, which enables to measure the ultrasonic power by heat effect of the mechanical Wales. The princip of two basic kinds of thermoacoustic sensor is descibed here – one level and two level sensor. This work also contains a proposition of these sensors with description of each parts and a trial to find suitable absorber. Achieved results, which support the function of the sensors are presented here by form of graphs and tables. Measuring by thermoacoustic sensors is confronted here with measuring of ultrasonic by hydrophone, which is used as reference measuring.
