Among these individuals are also artists in the field of classical music. This work yields a basic information about the difference of the specific personality characteristics of musicians and people who are not involved in music. It sums up existing knowledge on this topic and it creates internally consistent profile of an artist in the field of classical music. Umění a architektura Národopisné výstavy 1895 / Art and architecture of the Ethnographic exhibition 1895

Mědílková, Veronika January 2012 (has links)
Title of the thesis: Art and architecture of the Ethnographic exhibition 1895 The topic of the presented diploma thesis is the reconstruction of artist and item list presented on the Ethnographic exhibition of 1895, which was held in the premises of Holešovice Fairground in Prague from May 15 to September 28, 1895. Despite being one of the most important exhibition events held in Bohemia in the 19th Century (Jubilee Exhibition of 1891 - Ethnographic Exhibition of 1895 - Architecture and Engineering Exhibition 1898), it has not yet been systematically covered - not even from the history of art perspective. Based on the original material (leaflets, catalogues, guide-books) the thesis attempts to re- introduce the original public image of the exhibition and the character of the exposed items. The chapters of the thesis deal with the exhibition banner, the architecture (The Old Prague and Sample Village exhibitions), paintings, sculptures, commercial art (exhibition souvenirs). The thesis also attempts to trace the items and sketch their fate after the exhibition was over.

Současné francouzské divadelní texty pro děti a mládež / CONTEMPORARY FRENCH DRAMA TEXTS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

Coufalová, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this work is to present contemporary French drama texts for children and youth as a tool of understanding ourselves, others and the world. The ambition of the work is not to compare or evaluate the French approach to dramatic arts in education with the Czech one; it rather describes and shows how it works in France. Thanks to the drama text, which is an indispensable part of the mosaic of many different aspects of cooperation, we can look into an almost organic connection of theatres, publishing houses and schools, where these institutions share one common denominator a child. Therefore, in our work we deal with the history of theatre for children and young people, as well as with the first editions of plays aimed at children audience. Next, we analyze selected works and we discuss examples of possible work with children in schools. For better comprehension, we come with an example of collaboration between artists and teachers in elementary school in Saintry sur Seine, who together with children prepared the performance of a contemporary text. In conclusion, we think about the debate on the theatre for children and young audiences in the Czech Republic and France, which took place during the first festival of French theatre in Prague.

Cestou dramatické výchovy (nejen) k výtvarnému cíli / THROUGH DRAMA EDUCATION (NOT ONLY) TO ART OBJECTIVES

Osvaldová, Božena January 2016 (has links)
The presented thesis is looking at or searching different educational methods connected with drama and graphic art. The author is describing her own search and favours a variety of drama technique (activities) as a way of graphic art expressions. The first part of the thesis is including a description of her current theoretical findings, gained as an art teatcher as well as a wide overview of graphic art drama in general. Structural basis of the art and drama (the style of graphic art drama), which have been tested out in the practice sessions, are also well depicted. Some more possible pathways of graphic art and drama together are indicated as well, and their potential to resonate in the same time in the subconsciousness of this field. Four visual drama art works are the main focus of the second part of her thesis. She has experience them together with her pupils during her work as art/drama teacher at Radotin Primery Art school of Klement Slavicky in Prague 5. It is a detail description “step by step” of each of her art-drama projects including a small reflection and feedback of each step. Final evaluation and reflection is included at the end of each drama project. The published four projects allow us to observe the authors change of perception and view on the educational approach. Every following art-drama unit offered an opportunity for growth and expended the authors spectrum of graphic art methods and drama techniques. Overall it has deepened her insight not only into the specific project, but the entire field of graphic art drama. Photo-documentation of several specific art presentations has been assigned to some of the tasks presented in the work as they were the result itself.

Herectví v životě a život v herectví / ACTING IN THE LIFE AND THE LIFE IN ACTING

Müller, Richard January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals, in general, with the topic of theatrical experience of a young person, and examines everyday life influences on his artistic life and on the development of art within the person self. It poses questions and looks for answers to some of those questions in the specialist literature, or by deducing from personal experience.First, numerous influences that affect a person during his studies are presented, the importance of a person’s psychological profile, as well as his understanding of himself, and of the world around him. Later on, personal experience from professional carrier is described. I am disclosing character work in the DISK theatre and I am trying to find reasons for my feelings, both, good and bad, during the rehearsing processes, and the cause of my successes and failures. Acting, on stage as well as in front of the camera, is described from an unusual point of view, focusing greatly on details that are oftentimes overlooked. The new perspective from which I am trying to present acting and the life of an artist consists not only of the professional tools for mastering the craft - such as learning new parts, adopting the technical skills, etc. - but emphasizes humanity, underlines its importance, and searches for a threshold between professional and personal life of an actor.

Sebereflexe tvůrčího procesu při tvorbě inscenací Nevina a Erekce srdce / A Selfreflection of a Creative Process of Working on Nevina and Erectionof the Heart

Blažková, Anděla January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis is a subjective reflection based on proper selfreflection during my work on performances Nevina and Erection of the heart. It is not a theoretical study but more an understanding and defining of my own ways of searching between a dramatic character of Absolut and function of a performer. In first part I analyze the performance Nevina directed by Petra Tejnorová. I present some conditions and forms of realisation a live cinema project. In next chapter I point out names of all the dramatic characters with their description from my point of view and I search connections and facts of a dramatic character of Absolut, that is communicating me the text. Then I am reflecting the dramatic character from my point of view with my own imagination. I analyse all the dramatic situations in which Absolut is present and I present the ways to get to her own emotions. I search connections between emotions and experiences of a dramatic character and my own. I find out the importance of knowing what I am performing and at the same time I find out the importance of a fact that a dramatic character should not know what is he performing at the same time. I analyze a searching of a „mask“ for a scenic adaptation of being blind and I mention a part from my own notes based on my own experimentation with vision. I clarify technical requirements for an actor to work with during the realization: a camera, a microphone – microport, space and I mention the importance of the fusion of actor with this technical issues. I am reflecting the truthfulness, certainty and authenticity of film acting. In the second part I am mentioning experiences of working on school performances with directors during my studies on the accademy and I mention reasons of importance of searching for an own topic. I am analyzing the creative process of Erection of the heart directed by Petra Tejnorová. In next chapters I uncover the creative process – contact improvisation and searching of my own topic. I analyze the ways of touching the core of my own topic and I mention the final version of my monologue in this performance. I outline my own reflections – possibilities and rules of a way to get in touch with a spectator. I realise the possibilities of a performer while knowing the possible winning and loosing during the playing. I mention a reaction of one spectator after seeing our show. In the end I answer myself a question if the authenticity of an actor is changing while he is telling someone else's story or his own thoughts and oppinions.
