Thesis is focused on the quantitative analysis of the income elasticity of demand of Czech households for selected areas of consumption. Demand of households of employees, self-employed persons and pensioners is compared to each other. The analysis is transferred based on data from the Czech Statistical Office for the period 1993-2011. For each group of households is defined Engel model of demand in selected area of consumption. Regression parameters are quantified and models are statistically verified. Income elasticity of demand is calculated on the basis of these models and subsequently are these values interpreted.

The thesis focuses on the quantitative assessment of the income elasticity on food in six European countries. The analysis is based on data from OECD about consumption and household income in the period from 1995 to 2013. The resulting Engel models are statistically, econometrically and economically verified and based on them income elasticities of consumer demand on food are obtained. The values are interpreted, compared with each other and put in a global study of a given problematics.

The theses deals with the evaluation of the financial performance of the chosen company - Distillery Kleiner, s.r.o. The company's activities are plant distillation, production and modification of ethanol, and the distribution of liquors. The theses is divides into two part. The first part contains theoretical information and defines the financial performance of company, required sources of information, chosen methods of evaluation and relevant indicators. The second part introduces the company, contains the calculations of the indicators of chosen methods of financial performance and the practical evaluation of the indicators.

The aim of this master thesis is to describe economy and development of city since 1990. The first part of this thesis is focused on acquirement of theoretical knowledge, which is related to surveyed area. The theoretical part of this thesis is followed by practical part. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on economy. Economy of the city was analyzed by several indicators. The economy part was firstly focused on basic budget management and the concentrated on deeper analysis of revenues and expenditures. Indebtedness of city was also analyzed. The second part of practical part was focus on development of city which was analyzed by many indicators which describe different area of development such as demography, social and economic area or infrastructure and Environment.

The main objective of this thesis is to analyze consumer behavior of czech households in relation to own and other sources of financing from which it is possible to satisfy the needs of these households. The theoretical part is focused on defining knowledge in the area of consumption. The practical part is then dedicated to analyzing the evolution of consumption of czech households, where secondary sources are mainly used, and analyzing sources of financing of household consumption expenditure for which purpose it was carried out survey, which was focused on czech households.

Diploma thesis "Analysis of economy selected towns or villages", deals with the analysis of incomes and expenses in municipalities of Řimovice and Trhový Štěpánov in the years 2009 - 2014. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part of the thesis is based on the study of technical literature and concentrates on the explanation of basic terms related to municipality management and operation and on the brief characteristic of selected municipalities. The practical part deals with the analysis of municipal management, which is based on the gained underlying data. For the evaluation of municipality management, financial ratios, time series and the self-sufficiency rate is used. Also, the practical part includes a questionnaire survey carried out in municipality of Řimovice, which serves to find out the satisfaction with the municipality management among inhabitants. The results of analyses, selected indicators and the questionnaire survey in the municipality of Řimovice show following conclusions: Both municipalities faced with the deficit budget in the monitored period, caused mainly by investment activities. Deficits were settled mostly through the approved loans. The municipality of Trhový Štěpánov uses more the available grants for its funding than the municipality of Řimovice, which was also one of the things that the inhabitants of Řimovice were not satisfied with in the questionnaire survey. However, the management of both municipalities can be considered stable.

The thesis titled Local government budgets in the Czech Republic analyzes the budgets of governments focusing on local government units - municipalities. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts, public budgets and public finances and its conception. In the next part of my space is devoted to the system of budgetary system in the Czech Republic focusing on local budgets. The analysis in this section are subjected to various types of income and expenses. Government expenditures are compared on the basis of the itemized breakdown according to the budget structure. A significant chapter presents an analysis of the current situation in the area of financing municipalities - budgetary allocation of taxes, its historical development based on amendments to the Act. The last part of the thesis is a chapter dealing specifically with farming town of Dubi. Financial analysis evaluates the management of the city based on the selected informative and monitoring indicators, comparisons of budgets, and in the period of ten years. Special space is defined by analysis of the way the management of disposable financial resources of the city, including proposals and recommendations for their better utilization, and the base model simulations conducted.

This thesis is concentrated on the analysis of the economy of regions in The Czech Republic and their indebtedness. It deals with the general characteristics of the budgets of regional authorities in The Czech Republic, their income and expenditure. It describes the overall economy of regions and related to their indebtedness.

The thesis is focused on funding of the town of Borohradek and its funded institutions in the monitored years 2010 - 2014. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part brings theoretical background for an economic analysis. It describes public budgets, budget processing and municipality budget composition, defines funded institutions and mentions ways of using marketing in the public area and possible forms of municipality collaboration. The financial analysis of the town and its funded institutions is developed in the empirical part. It comprises analysis of incomes, outcomes, budgetary execution and indebtedness. The comparison of the town of Borohradek with three municipalities from Rychnov nad Kneznou District based on benchmarking principles is involved. According to data collected within financial analysis and comparison of municipalities, the SWOT analysis is developed. This analysis evaluates the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the town. The thesis outcomes present solutions for detected problems and proposals for improving funding of the town of Borohradek.
