Venösa blodprov med hjälp av vacutainersystem tas dagligen inom sjukvården. Det är viktigt att dessa prover tas på rätt sätt både för den diagnos patienten eventuellt får och den eventuella behandlingen. Tidigare undersökning har gjorts på undersköterskor men ingen har gjorts på sjuksköterskor. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskans rutiner vid venös blodprovtagning såg ut. Studien utfördes på sjuksköterskor på några avdelningar på Universitetssjukhuset i Malmö. Både kvalitativt och kvantitativt analyserings perspektiv har använts med Innehållsanalys som grund i de kvalitativa delarna. Resultatet visar att patientfokus är av stor vikt samt att sjuksköterskornas rutiner varierar inom venös blodprovtagning. Den kliniska tillämpligheten är stor och efterfrågan finns för dessa studier. / Venous blood specimen using a vacutainer system is a daily routine within healthcare and a hospital. It’s important that these tests are administered correct, both for setting diagnose as well as a future possible treatment. A similar study has been done towards nurse assistants but none has been done on nurses. The aim of the survey was to examine nurse’s routine when she collects a blood specimen. The survey was carried out at different departments at The University hospital in Malmo. Both a qualitative and a quantitative method were used to analyze the answers with a content analysis focus on the qualitative parts. The result of the study shows that the patients are in focus as well as the differences in routines when it comes to nurses. The clinical appliance is high as the interests of these studies are highly appreciated.
