This dissertation thesis, Study of a small catchment water regime, is a compilation of four studies published (or accepted to be published) in scientific journals of varying impact factors. Thematically, the thesis focuses on the question of water regimes with regards to hydrological modelling.

This diploma thesis deals with the methods of desedimenting wine juice, and the influence of desedimentation upon the sensoric and analytic profiles of individual wines. The theoretical part deals with the substances contained in wine juice, the process of desedimentation, the clarity of wine, effect of bentonite and the importance of sulphur dioxide in wine. In the practical part, an experiment was conducted during which seven samples were produced out of two varieties of wine, using different desedimentation intensities. Afterwards, the amount of sulphur dioxide was measured, while at the same time the gas was being supplied at given intervals. The wines were evaluated according to analytical specifications and also with the assistance of sensoric assessment, using a hundred point scale and the aromatic profile of individual wines was also evaluated. An appropriate method of statistical evaluation as well as an interpreted conclusion were chosen to provide results, detailing the characteristics of individual samples produced within the experiment.

The diploma thesis deals with the influences that affect young people aged 18 to 24 in the establishment of start-ups. The main aim was to find out which environmental factors influence emergence of youth start-ups and how they differ in Europe, China and the US over time. The thesis describes three models that explain the entrepreneurial intentions and that serve better understanding of human behavior in setting up businesses. Further the thesis includes a description of the individual and environmental factors that are based on current studies. Due to the title of thesis only the impact of environmental factors was tested. The analysis was conducted on a public data of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor.

The diploma thesis dealt with the influence of deselination on the quality of wine. In the theoretical part were used various methods of deselination and bentonite use were described. Furthermore, terms such as clarification or the intensity of deselination were explained. In the experimental part, an experiment was performed on two grapevine varieties. Seven different deselination methods have been developed for each variety. It has been monitored the influence of deselination methods on the proces of fermentation, on the weight of sludge after fermentation. Furthermore, the individual wines were evaluated sensorycally, analytically and the results statistically evaluated. Sensorycal evaluation was carried out on a hundred-point scale, and aromatic wine profiles were created. Chemical analysis was performed on FTIR Alpha and Miura One. The most suitable statistical method was chosen for the results.

This diploma thesis is focused on method of sludge removal and consequent influence on sensory and analytical profile of grapevine wines. The theoretical part describes the substance composition of grape must, turbidity, methods of sludge removal and means used to clarify grape musts. In the experimental part, an attempt was made to create three variants. Each variant contained four different ways of draining the must. The turbidity and sludge volume parameters were monitored during production. The wine produced was analyzed. The wine was then sensory evaluated and aromatic profiles of the individual variants were created. Appropriate statistical evaluation was carried out and the experiment was interpreted in individual experimental results

The main content of the diploma thesis is the determination of the influence of the nuclear power plant Dukovany on the landscape character of the solved location. The thesis is divided into two parts, which the first theoretical part describes the general landscape character and its parts and the legislation with landscape protection associated. Furthermore, the issue of nuclear power plants, supplemented by data provided directly from the power plant Dukovany. The last topic of the theoretical part was the description of existing methodologies for landscape character assessment. The second practical part evaluates on the basis of the modified methodology of Mr Vorl et al. the main theme of the work, thus the extent of influence of the construction on the landscape character of the solved area. An important part of the thesis is also a quantitative research on the social perception of the power plant by local inhabitants, which was done in the form of a questionnaire. Lastly, there are practical recommendations on the protection and care of the landscape.
