Vliv obecní čistírny odpadních vod na jeskynní systém propadání Lopače / Effects of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant at Lopac Sinkhole Cave SystemOndruš, Martin January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to assess the impact of water outflow from wastewater treatment plant on karst rivers. The study was done in the northern area of Moravský kras protected landscape, where the impact of WWTP Ostrov u Macochy on a cave system Lopačské propadání was studied. As a part of this study a half-year monitoring was carried out, which consisted of water sampling every two weeks. In total, 13 water samples were taken from 7 sampling points. Moreover, flow rate, temperature, conductivity, oxygen concentration and pH were measured at the sampling point. Afterwards, the content of undissolved solids, COD, BOD, N-NH4+, N-NO2-, N-NO3-, NKi and total phosphorus were determined in the samples. The change of parameters in time on the sampling points and further along the flow of the river was evaluated from the measured values. The outflow values from waste water treatment plants were compared with the emission limits for surface waters and the values of river water parameters were compared with the environmental quality standards. It wasn’t proven that the outflow from the observed waste water treatment plant is negatively influencing the water stream. The most serious problems are: -The WWTP was designed for treatment of sewage from Ostrov u Macochy, which involved separate sanitary and storm sewers. After finishing the WWTP, a uniform sewer was built. -High concentration of total phosphorus on the outflow from WWTP. -Poor quality of Lopač brook water already before the outflow vent from WWTP.

Stanovení těkavých izoprenoidů jako markerů vlivu vodního stresu na rezistenci smrku vůči kůrovcům / Determination of volatile isoprenoids as water stress markers of spruce resistance against bark beetleSlušná, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
Isoprenoids are important components of conifer resin and represent an important part of constituted defence system against herbivores and pathogens. Drought is one of the most important factors that influences the tree physiology and resitance. Due to decreased turgor of resin canal cells, the water insufficiency affects the pressure of the resin and thereby the ability of trees to physically prevent pathogen or herbivore invasion by effective outpouring of the resin. In addition, drought can also change the resin composition and thus can influence the quality of volatiles emitted by the tree. The Norway spruce, Picea abies, is the predominant species of production forests in moderate climate zone. Bark beetles, Ips typographus, represent the most important pest species of spruce. In general, pioneer bark beetles use host volatiles to orient themselves toward the tree suitable for colonization and in many species host volatiles synergize bark beetle aggregation pheromones. Thus the host volatile composition could affect significantly host colonization. This diploma thesis studied the influence of drought on the production and composition of isoprenoid volatile organic compounds in 80 - 100 years old spruce trees. Using I. typographus antennae as biological detectors, we also studied which resin...

Baťův kanál jako součást krajiny a života místních obyvatelDostálová, Jana January 2019 (has links)
Bata Canal is known as waterway with rich history that dates back to 1930s of the last century. First ideas about its regulation were expressed by farmers cultiva-ting banks of the Morava river and Czechoslovak entrepreneur Tomáš Baťa. First part of this thesis focuses on water transport, revitalization and environmental impact assessment related to the planned construction of a new port Napajedla-Pahrbek. The second part describes history and current situation of the Bata Canal. The last part includes a survey that was carried out among citizens of Napajedla and other urban areas. Gathered results will help to suggest and recommend proper measurements which would lead to better general knowledge of the citizens and protection of the environment.

Agronomické sucho jako bezpečnostní rizikoKotásková, Klára January 2018 (has links)
Drought is a very current issue in the Czech Republic and especially in the South Moravian Region. Therefore, the objective of this thesis is to find out, whether there was a agricultural drought during the 2005-2017 period and if it could have affected the yield of cereals, especially the winter wheat and spring barley crops. This thesis was focused on the South Moravian Region and especially the Hodonín district, which is situated within a very hot and dry landscape. The meteorological data was acquired from The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI), specifically from the hydromereorological station Strážnice and the data about yields in the South Moravian Region was taken from the Czech Statistical Office and from the owner of the company Agronavi .s.r.o. The meteorological data from CHMI was processed using the AVISO model, whose outputs, measured by available water capacity (AWC), are then compared to the regional yields and yields of the company.

Vyhodnocení ztráty půdy vodní erozí ve vybraném územíTeplý, Lukáš January 2018 (has links)
Diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of threats on agriculture land by water erosion in the cadastral area of village Čikov before and after proposing of counter – erosion measures. For the calculation of erosion was used Universal equation (USLE) according to Wischmeier and Smith. The analytical operations leading to the calculation individual factors Universal equation and average long-term loss of soil by water erosion were made using the software ArcGIS, USLE2D and LS – Converter. Partial analysis are presented in the form of map outputs. In the interest area, after the calculating of the USLE, it was found that on 30,39 ha occurs very strong erosion which represents 4,73 % of the solved area. Strong erosion occurs on 36,56 ha (5,68 %), medium erosion on 229,94 ha (35,75 %) and slight erosion on 346,33 ha (53,84 %). Thanks to the proposed counter – erosion measures, very strong erosion in the interest area was completely eliminated. Strong erosion was reduced to only 2,52 ha (0,39 %) and medium erosion to 74,79 ha (11,58 %). Slight erosion increased to 566,21 ha (88,03 %).

Vodní režim krajinného segmentu lesního porostu v podmínkách pařezinového hospodařeníVichta, Tomáš January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the water regime of soils of the forest landscape segment. The object of the research was the permanent study plot Ušákov with low forest (simple coppice) and high forest (abandoned simple coppices) at the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Krtiny, Bilovice forest district. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the dynamics of the soil water regime during the hydrological year 2018 in this landscape segment in relation to the thinning (basal area of each polycormon was reduced to 50%) and 30% reduction of throughfall precipitation in coppice stand and also in relation to the different forest management. The results show that in the thinned coppice stands is soil moisture higher during the whole investigated season, while in the coppice stands with reduced throughfall is lower, the effect of the different forest management on the soil moisture was not conclusively proved. Another task of this thesis is also to introduce the basic outline of the methodology of how to evaluate continually and ambulatory acquired soil water regime data from any landscape segment. Based on this method, individual humidity values of the studied soils were analyzed.

Svalové dysbalance u vodních slalomářů měřeno pomocí TMG / Muscle imbalances in white water canoeing measured by TMGHapák, Michal January 2020 (has links)
Title: Muscle imbalances in white water canoeing measured by TMG Aims: The aim of this paper was to select the endangered muscle groups, to identify possible imbalances using tensiomyograph (TMG 100) and to define hypotheses about the influence of training load in water slalom on the development of imbalances in the selected specific muscle groups. Methods: This work has a character of a qualitative research. Specifically, 6 case studies were carried out, appended by control measurements after one year, in which emphasis was placed on the detection of characteristic muscle imbalances that could arise as a result of specific training activities in water slalom. To measure these muscle imbalances, we used tensiomyograph (TMG 100). Results: Among the measured participants, we found that during a one-year training cycle, significant changes in the functionality of individual muscle groups have occurred. The most endangered groups, ie the groups with the most significant changes, included BB, DEL, LD and TRM. There have been also notable changes in the functional symmetry of the elbow joint, where 4 out of 5 participants have deteriorated during the year. It was also found, that women might be more prone to imbalances as an effect of the specific activity compared to men. Key words: white water...
