The two-year experiment (2010, 2011) dealt with the evaluation of yield and quality parameters of vegetables Capsicum annuum L., variety 'SLÁVY F1' and Allium porrum L., 'GIGANTE SUIZO' treated with mycorrhizal product SYMBIVIT in two irrigation modes. The research was conducted as a field experiment. The site was located on the properties of Faculty of Horticulture MENDELU, Mendeleum, Lednice. The positive effect of the mycorrhizal preparation as an intensifying factor was statistically proven in the quality of pepper seedlings. The set parameters were: plant height, stem diameter and increase of the number of leaves. The set parametres in the quality of leek seedlings were: stem diameter, length of the above-ground part, the length of the underground section, weight of fresh roots, weight of roots after drying. The positive effect of the mycorrhizal preparation as an anti-stress measure was proven in the evaluation of yield of peppers in 2011. The positive effect of the mycorrhizal preparation as an anti-stress measure was also proven in the evaluation of yield of the 1st grade quality of peppers in 2011 and in the quantity of nitrates in leek planted in 2010. The positive effect of mycorrhizal preparation as an intensifying factor or as an anti-stress measure on the other evaluated parameters was not proven.

Stanovení ztráty půdy erozí a návrh protierozních opatření

In this diploma thesis I dealt with the water erosion of soil in the area of Libotovský potok. The basin was divided into eight erosively enclosed units. I have counted the average long-term loss of land without anti-erosive measures and with anti-erosive measures as well as the transportation of floodplains for both of these situations. The aim of this work was to evaluate the severity of water erosion and to propose anti-erosion measures by using the universal equation (USLE) and modified equations (MUSLE). According to the results of the universal equation, it was clear that there was a very strong erosion in the river basin. The total loss of the land was 12 419.88 tones per year. Therefore, both organisational (leaving post-harvest remnants) and agro-technical measures (curb contouring) were proposed there in order to reduce the values of Factors C and P. After that, the reduction in the loss of the has ended up on 2 628.93 tones per year. The final value of transportation of the floodplains without erosion measures was 30 671,77 tones. After changing the sowing technologies and the change in the values for the factors C and P, it decreased to 5 203,32 tones. The results of the diploma thesis show that the water erosion of the soil is a large and frequent problem of many agricultural lands, especially those where soil is left without any protective effect of vegetation and also where the broad-leaved crops are grown. An important factor that can significantly help to reduce erosion is also the right way of the soil cultivation.

The thesis is focused on measuring of water quality and phytotoxicity of sediments. In first part is described legislation related with water and ponds and also is determined the terms associated with this topic. Furthermore is characterized location and described places of taking samples. Samples were taken in quarterly periods and then evaluated in laboratory of Mendel university Department of Applied and Landscape Ecology. In following part are specified procedures of evaluation taken samples and evaluation results monitored parameters (amount of dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, conducti-vity, chemical oxygen demand, quantity of nitrates, nitrogen and phosphor). Phytotoxicity was evaluated by test phytotoxicity through the Phytotoxkit.

Zhodnocení výskytu a významu bezobratlých v systému intenzivního chovu lososovitých ryb.

The theoretical part of the thesis contains a literature review of the current knowledge on the occurrence and importance of aquatic invertebrates in salmonid fish farms. The practical part includes monitoring and determination of abundance, diversity and taxonomic composition of aquatic invertebrates in a recirculating system in Pravíkov. Sampling was conducted once a month during the vegetative season over three years, from 2015 to 2017. Samples were taken using an adjusted benthic net, from three sam-pling sites: bottom of the outflow canal from the breeding tanks, bottom of the inflow canal to the breeding tanks and the system’s wall. In addition to the abundance and diversity of aquatic invertebrates, the physico-chemical parameters of water were also measured. During the monitoring period, common breeding interventions were conduct-ed, including the discharge and disinfection of the entire system. During the monitoring period, a total of 36,066 individuals from 133 taxa of aquatic invertebrates were recorded. In 2016, despite the disinfection of the system, the highest number of taxa (74) and abundance (17,700) were registered. In 2016 and 2017, the vast majority of the macrozoobenthos collected were Chironomidae and Oligochaeta, which showed a significant growth in abundance in comparison with 2015. In 2015, 69 taxa with an abundance of 15,436 individuals were recorded. The cleaning of the system showed the highest effect on macrozoobenthos in 2017, when the bryophyte vegetation regrowth did not occur on the wall and some of the samples were without macrozoobenthos. Altogether, only 2,930 aquatic invertebrates and 67 taxa were detected. Values of the Shannon–Weaver index (H´) ranged from 1.335 to 2.214 in 2015, from 0.853 to 2.583 in 2016 and from 1.116 to 2.508 in 2017. Off all macrozoobenthos taxa recorded, Asellus aquaticus presents a potential danger to farmed fish, as it can be an intermediate host of Acanthocephala. This is also true for some species of molluscs, which can be intermediate hosts of trematodes.

This thesis deals with measuring of water quality and phytotoxicity of sediments in the Opatovice reservoir which is situated in Vyškov, in the South Moravian Region. The first part of thesis is literary research and it is focused on related legislation, types of water, protect of water, reservoirs of water, sediments, water quality and ekotoxikology. The second part is focused on Opatovice reservoir. There is a destription of nature conditions of reservoir and its technical specifications. Last part is evaluation of selected indicators of water quality and evaluation of phytotoxicity of a sediment sample. The results of thesis shows that Opatovice reservoir has not problems with water quality and its sediment is not phytotoxic.

Another essential part is detection of natural conditions of the location and the current state of the watercourse. It will be possible to design measure which would improve its condition and avoid negative impacts on its functionality as much as possible only after examination of all available information and materials. All proposals should meet ecological requirements with an emphasis on nature protection and recreational landscape use.

The subject of this thesis is the evaluation of the selected sites watercourse in relation to the development of recreation in the region. The literature search focused on the evaluation of watercourses, their adaptations and their surroundings. This issue is addressed in terms of flood protection, as well as in terms of ecology, revitalization, recreation, urban and economic. The practical part is focused on a characterization and assessment of a particular model territory, i.e. the selected revitalized section of the watercourse in the Czech Republic. Evaluation is based on the chosen method and on the basis of the methods of public preferences. The result is a proposal for measures leading to maintain or to increase the recreational potential of the selected watercourse.
