The diploma thesis concerns the local Government and municipal politics in district Praha, Zličín. The thesis is focused on the development of local Government in the period after 1989. The subject of the thesis is analysis of municipal political system and the participation of citizens in public life in the district. The thesis is depart into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts related to local governments e.g. Delimitation of municipalities, municipal politics and electoral systems in the country. The practical part contains the characteristics of Praha, Zličín. It also focuses on local authorities and their representatives and municipal management in the years 2010 - 2014. The practical part includes an analysis of municipal elections in 1994 - 2014.

The subject of this master´s thesis is the development of local government in the municipality of Uhelná Příbram. The thesis is divided into two successive parts. The first part contains the basic terminology related to the topic of the thesis - to local democracy and the communal electoral system. At the same time it introduces readers to two theories, dealing with the issue. The second part is devoted to a case study of a particular municipality - Uhelná Příbram. It represents the community in terms of its history and the most important demographic and socioeconomic characteristics that influence the development of the municipality. The practical part is to analyze the elections to the municipal council in the years 1994 - 2014 and their comparison. The conclusion contains a summary comparison of the elections in a transparent scheme and the inclusion of Uhelná Příbram introduced into the theory from the first part.

The work searches for the main factors influencing local party systems in the District of Strakonice, it examines the rate of the political participation, the rate of the political plurality, the number of election parties and the ratio of the independents. Its secondary goal is exploring election change impacts from the year 2010. The political process was changed in 2010, the traditionally strongest parties were displaced by the new ones and the voters attitude to the political parties was changed too. The election change impacts influenced mainly the national politics, in the Parliament, where it changed the arrangement of the political powers. The work founded a similar change in the local level, it showed, that the main factor influencing the local party systems is the number of town inhabitants. According to the number of inhabitants it changes the local party systems and town reactions on the changes in the parliament politics.

This diploma thesis is primarily focused on the issue of voters' behaviour in the city of Ceske Budejovice. The main goal of the thesis is the synchronic and diachronic comparative analysis of the election preferences of political parties standing in an election in the municipality. Three types of the elections are compared: the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, the elections to the regional councils in the Czech Republic and the municipal elections. The next primary goal is to analyse whether the breaking points in the parliamentary party system from the years 2010 and 2013 were reflected in the preferences of the electors in the city of Ceske Budejovice, and whether the local party system followed them as well. The secondary objective lies in the comparison of aggregated preferences at the state and regional level with the behaviour of residents of Ceske Budejovice. This comparison is done for the particular political parties in all analysed types of elections. The diploma thesis consists of two main parts, which are the theoretical part and the analytical part. The theoretical part is focused on the general principles of the electoral process as well as three mentioned types of elections. Furthermore, there is a description of the parliamentary, regional and local party system development in the Czech Republic. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the theory of the voting behaviour at large and the factors that might influence it as well. The analytical part of the thesis is split into chapters according to the sorts of the research elections. Each chapter contains the analysis of the results and polls as well as the relative deviation from the national and regional preferences. In the last chapter of the analytical part, the links between the voters' behaviour and the social-economic factors, which might influence it, are contemplated.

Diplomová práce tak popisuje ukotvení genderu v rámci naší legislativy. Dále pak zkoumá podíl žen na kandidátních listinách do zastupitelských úřadů v hlavním městě Praze a následnému uplatnění žen v případě volebního úspěchu. V diplomové práci jsou analyzovány zkušenosti zastupitelek s případnou diskriminací při výkonu své funkce voleného zástupce. Práce si rovněž všímá podílu žen ve vysokých politických funkcí a přístupu parlamentních politických stran k otázce genderu.

Práce sleduje dva základní cíle. Prvním cílem je pojmenovat a analyzovat teoretická východiska, za která jsou považována osvětlení a vymezení pojmů národní identita, nacionalismus a národní zájmy. Záměrem této časti práce je poskytnout základní teoretický rámec pro užívání těchto pojmů. Druhým cílem je analýza pravicové politiky (u etablovaných pravicových a krajně pravicových politických stran) s důrazem na vymezené pojmy, jejich používání jako aktivizačních témat a zmapování nacionálních tendencí mezi parlamentními volbami v letech 2002-2006.

This dissertation discuss about political marketing. Analyzes election campaign ODS in election to the corpotation of Zlin country especially use of carriers of communations.

The use of political marketing represents a more and more important part of election campaigns. This thesis is concerned with analysis of the campaigns of two largest Czech political parties - Civic Democratic Party and Czech Social Democratic Party - in the parliamentary elections 2006. The analysis is based on the comprehensive political marketing model that has been developed by Jennifer Lees-Marshment. In this model three kinds of political parties are distinguished: Product-Oriented Party, Sales-Oriented Party and Market-Oriented Party. The political marketing process which is different for each of them has a significant influence on the party behaviour during the campaign.

This thesis is focused on political marketing, especially negative campaign. It describes Parliamentary elections in the Czech republic in 2010 and instruments were used.

Political marketing and political science are relatively young disciplines. Their contemporary shape follows the context of the dynamic social changes, caused by the technological innovation. This thesis should try to cover a range of areas, related to the connection between politics, political science and political marketing. The consistent analysis is supplemented by example from practice of the Czech political party. The chosen case study refers to the parliamentary election in 2013. The thesis introduces key tools of marketing communications and their applications on the market, establishing proper communication objectives and shows, how to choose appropriate communication strategy.
