Vícekriteriální hry / Multicriteria games

Tichá, Michaela January 2015 (has links)
Theory of multicriteria games is a special field of game theory, when one or more players have at least two payoff functions and want to maximize simultaneously. The work introduces a number of new findings. It examined the concept of finding equilibria in pure strategies in noncooperative multicriteria game. It is possible to find all the equilibria in pure strategies by full search and solving two linear programs for each point. Furthermore, two linear programs are formulated for verifying that a selected point is the equilibrium of the game or not. In the noncooperative games is also introduced the concept that with knowledge of the equilibrium of bimatrix game determines preferences of the players. Although finding the equilibrium point of the bimatrix game is nonlinear problem, finding the preferences is linear problem. The latest findings in the noncooperative games is a generalization of the concept that solves multicriteria game by assigning weights to each criterion of each player. The work demonstrates that it may not be necessarily linear weights, but it can be more general function that describes the player's preference. The remaining part is devoted to knowledge in cooperative games. There is considered that the players know their preferences and are able to express them by weights. The game with known preferences is defined and solved with the use of bargaining theory. Then it is generalized to a case where players have more payoff functions, from which they can choose. Finally, the multicriteria case of voting game is defined. It is designed completely new concept, which selects the winning coalition in the voting game. This concept is then applied to the real situation after the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in 2013.

K proměně politického prostředí ve Velké Británii v důsledku nástupu masových médií (60.-70. léta 20. století) / The Transformation of the Political Environment in Great Britain as a Result of the Rise of Mass Media (until the 70s of the 20th Century)

Koštel, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
The main theme of this thesis is the relationship between media and politics in Great Britain mainly in the twentieth century. The research is based on the fact that dynamic post-war growth in technological and economical areas resulted in the development and mass expansion of new media, especially radio and television broadcasting. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze the transformation of British political environment and to verify the hypothesis arguing that this transformation was primarily caused by the development of new media. Changes in the British politics during the twentieth century are demonstrated especially by the election campaigns and methods of political communication. Another part of this work is also the brief analysis of the development of British mass media (press, radio and television) which provides an important context for achieving the stated objectives. The thesis is methodologically based on the research from fields of media history, political history and sociology which concentrates on political communication.

Personální stabilita obsazování funkcí v Parlamentu České republiky / Stability of Incumbents in the Parliament of the Czech Republic

Mareček, Jan Lukáš January 2013 (has links)
The thesis deals with the personal stability of the Czech Parliament in the period after 1993 when the Czech Republic was founded. The author assumes a better orientation in both organizational and procedural issues of reelected representatives. The aim of this thesis is to explore what factors have influenced the rate of reelection of MPs and Senators and how these are subsequently reflected in the personal structure of both Chambers. Using a quantitative analysis, the author tests the hypothesis that the rate of reelection will be higher in the Senate due to the majority voting system which is more personalized than the proportional one used in the Chamber of Deputies. The hypothesis was tested in the Committees analogically. Furthermore, the author tests if the current level of voter turnout influences the final election results and the rate of reelection, respectively. The text is divided into three chapters. The thesis is composed of a common structure heading from a theoretical background towards empirical analysis.

Participace podporovatelů občanského spolku Milionu chvilek na demokratickém procesu / Participation of supporters of the civic association Million Moments in the democratic process

Vlčková, Adéla January 2021 (has links)
Engagement and proactivity of the general public in democratic process is essential for a stable and functional democracy. Participation of citizens in the political environment can be expressed by either elections or by other forms of political involvement. Current research shows that political participation requires skills, motivation to get involved and support of a group of public actors. Million Moments for Democracy is a civic organisation who support and cultivate political culture in Czechia. This work examines the supporters of the civic movement. The results show that the supporters is a group that has higher individual resources, higher political interest and distrust of the government. The supporters of the civic organisation more politically participate, especially in the activities that the organization emphasizes. The model of belonging to the association showed that the fact that the organisation was originally a protest movement cannot be ignored. Nesystémová opozice v Rusku 2011-2016 / Non-Systemic Opposition in Russia 2011-2016

Koutník, Jan January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis examines why did the non-systemic opposition in Russia between 2011 and 2016 fail to reach any significant success. Even though during 2011 and 2012 Russia witnessed mass anti- government protests the non-systemic opposition was not able to enforce any relevant change in the regime, obtain representation in the state institutions or induce larger public dissatisfaction with the regime. The study analyses problematic internal features of the non-systemic opposition (lack of public support, coalition potential, election programs and campaigns, party financing) and external repressive means of the Vladimir Putin's regime against the opposition (legislation, direct confrontation, judicial trials, elections and means of rigging). The thesis offers a complex insight into the functioning of the non-systemic opposition in Russia in the observed period and accentuates the authoritarian character of the Russian regime. Based on the evaluation of the key variables the study concludes that the repressive policies of the regime cardinally affected the weakness and fragmentation of the non-systemic opposition which moreover was not able to overcome the internal conflicts and gain broader public support.

KDU-ČSL v krizi? Analýza vývoje strany v období 2009-2013 / Crisis of the KDU-ČSL? Analysis of the evolution of the party during the period 2009 - 2013

Neugebauerová, Aneta January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with the analysis of KDU-ČSL during the period from 2009 - 2013, when for the first time since its formation in 1919 this political party failed to obtain representation in the lower chamber of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. This representation was re-established in 2013, which is also a very unique phenomenon. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the development and changes within KDU-ČSL during this period using the official party documents and standardized interviews with selected members of KDU- ČSL. This information will allow me to come to a thought-out conclusion whether this period can be characterized as a crisis or not.

Hnutí ANO před parlamentními volbami 2017 / Political Party ANO before parliamentary elections 2017

Měska, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
The main objective of my diploma thesis is to analyze and evaluate the Political Movement ANO positioning within the political parties system of the Czech Republic by using a methodological framework approach. The thesis provides an analysis of electorate shifting and selected political parties manifestos as well as their comparison with the Political Movement ANO. Timewise, my focus is on the period prior to the election to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. As for analytical purposes, the Hierarchical Bayesian Modeling has been used. This statistical model helps to get the respective values and to show the electoral vote changes between the last two parliament elections (to Chamber of Deputies). The author uses quantitative and qualitative research for comparison and analysis of programmatical convergency as defined in the election manifestos of various political parties. For manifestos quantification a coding scheme by a Comparative manifesto project group has been applied. The reason for using the above mentioned scheme is that it provides a structured methodology to quantify the domains that the political parties do focus the most in their manifestos. The aim of the analytical part of the thesis is to define how and especially from where the Movement ANO...

Prvky politického marketingu v předvolebních kampaních volebních stran v komunálních volbách 2018 v Litvínově / Elements of political marketing in Litvínov 2018 municipal election campaign

Lamková, Ivana January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis is a case study of the town Litvínov from which the author comes from. It analyses the use of political marketing in the party election campaigns, which is described in detail and applied through the Lees-Marshment's theory with the help of semi-structured interviews, questionnaire surveys, mapping of programs and Codes of Conduct. The expected result of the thesis is not only the analysis of the municipal pre-election campaigns of the individual candidate parties using the Lees-Marshment theory, but also critical evaluation of this theory applied within the municipal politics. The partial objective is to compare the use of marketing of regional and national candidate parties within the municipal politics. It is not only a description of this theory, but also an evaluation of the theory suitability on the municipal level. The conclusions point to the fact that political marketing plays a certain role at the municipal level, but the degree of its use is much lower than on the national level.

Programový vývoj České pirátské strany / Program Development of the Czech Pirate Party

Michalová, Ivana January 2019 (has links)
This thesis analyses selected program documents of the Czech Pirate Party for the period 2009- 2017 in terms of content of its themes. Specifically, these are the Statute and all election programs created at that time. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the program development of the Czech Pirate Party occurred during the monitored period. From a methodological point of view, this is a content analysis supplemented by a comparative method. The thesis is based on the characteristic of the theoretical concept of the niche party, which will be presented in the first, theoretical part of thesis. The second part of the thesis takes a closer look at methodology. The third and at the same time the most comprehensive part deals with the introduction of pirate parties and the Czech Pirate Party, the actual content analysis of selected program documents and the subsequent comparison.
