This thesis deals with the accessibility of leisure activities for youth. Leisure activities are focused on the particular locality which is the town of Jablonec nad Nisou. Furthermore, this outlines the problems which the providers and staff of these institutions encounter. These are mainly a lack of funds for their operation, especially for private entrepreneurs, but also an excess of demand over supply. Nevertheless, this city offers many facilities where children and young people can spend their leisure time. The above-mentioned issue occurs primarily at art schools and youth centers because these can afford to choose lower school fees and therefore their services are accessible to a wider public. Apart from school lessons, the youth may attend art schools, leisure centers and low threshold facilities which are open to everybody and parents also do not have to pay school fees or pay the private entities that are trying to develop the physical as well as the mental aspects of the child. The practical part of this thesis takes a closer look to those providers of leisure time. On the contrary the financing of those activities is defined in the theoretical part where also the legislative basis is slightly outlined. The conclusion includes the evaluation of obtained results.

Abstract: This work summarizes the current knowledge about removing of nitrogen compounds from wastewater using non-traditional biological methods. They include for example process of nitritation/denitritation and a process of deammonification. Special innovative biological methods are economically advantageous because of savings of oxygen for the oxidation of N-ammon and organic substrate for the formation of N2. Achieving of accumulation of nitrites (achieving of shortcut nitrification) due to suppression of nitrite oxidising bacteria (NOB) is the basis of methods mentioned above. Stable shortcut nitrification is influenced by many factors and achieving of this process in a low-strength wastewater is still problematic, so some new procedures how to optimize it are investigated. This was also the main aim of research that was realized at the Department of Agroenvironmental Chemistry and Plant Nutrition of the Czech university of Life Sciences in Prague.

This thesis is focused on the free time of children under the age of 18 and possibilities of its spending in a specific institution. Free time is a part of everyday life and there are many ways of its spending. It is very important for education of young people. The theoretical part is focused on basic terms as free time, institutions a voluntary firemen and their organisation in the Czech Republic. The research part is focused on the analysis of chosen Club of voluntary firemen with children's club. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether the institution reaches its aims and to recommend some improvements.

The thesis deals with the issue of healthy lifestyle in young population and is focused on the possibilities of healthy eating habits and sporting activities at particular elementary school. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines basic concepts related to healthy lifestyles: health, healthy lifestyle, physical activity, dietary habits and school meals. Following chapters are devoted to prevention programs of the World Health Organization, which support health in the school environment. The last chapter focuses on profit and non-profit organizations, and institutional analysis of Bronislaw Malinowski, which is then applied to the elementary school canteen. The research part of the thesis deals with observation and personal questioning at a primary school in Litvinov Hamr. The possibilities of eating and condition of the canteen in relevance with principles of healthy lifestyle were observed together with sporting activities in the school environment. In chapter Evaluation the drawbacks identified during the research are described and several recommendations and suggestions are presented.

Diploma thesis of "The leisure time of children in the context of the family world" focuses on the leisure of children in troubled families, compared with functional families. In thesis is working with the concepts of free time and the family, and the family environment, is involved view the educational, sociological and psychological. The aim is to indicate differences in leisure time activities for children from different backgrounds families. This is problematic families and functional family. For these types of family environment that criteria. Criterion family functioning are adaptability, cohesion, family communication and absence of risky behavior. Functional criteria will therefore exclude the above criteria problematic environment. I will work through the issues of theoretical knowledge and empirical methods. One of the most interesting extraterrestrial bodies in the Solar System is Europa, the icy satellite of Jupiter. This icy moon might have a sufficiently hospitable environment which could be harbouring life in the subsurface ocean deep under its icy crust. The thesis thoroughly examines the generation process of one of the surface formations called chaotic terrains. These huge areas of ice disruptions which uniquely characterize Europa's surface might play a significant role in the understanding of the inner structure of the moon. The latest research assumes the chaotic terrains form above liquid water lenses perched relatively shallow in the ice shell, however, no numerical simulations have been performed to confirm this theory. The goal of the thesis is to create a model which would validate the theory and explain the formation process of the chaotic terrains. The thesis runs several simulations, and our results suggest these water lenses and the process in the mantle might play a key role in the chaotic terrains formation.

This work gives an elementary insight into the issue of healthy lifestyles in terms of different perspectives, and so in this respect, we can follow up on Cockerham's study (2005), which offers a comprehensive paradigm of exploring a healthy lifestyle. The key issue lies in the debate on whether the choice of a healthy lifestyle is subject to structural influences or to individuals' choices (the classical problem of structure and behavior). The main aim of this work is to verify the determination of individual components of a healthy lifestyle. Due to the difficulty of finding one indicator, we examine separately the conditionality of healthy eating, smoking, drinking, sports. In the analysis of individual dimensions of a healthy lifestyle, we take into account not only the basic socio-demographic variables, but also the knowledge, attitude, well-being and compensation strategy as mediating factors of a healthy lifestyle. Enriching the analysis offers the inclusion of compensatory theory, because these strategies weaken the rationality of action. Compensation strategies play an important role in risky behavior.
