It is associated with a number of other current issues that affect various areas of the life of the society. The thesis focuses on their identification, their historical development, and their reflection from the point of view of social sciences. It attempts to interpret them as socio-cultural phenomena. These problems manifest themselves in quite divergent areas, such as gender differences, influence of technology and the media on the society, economic behaviour of people, self- presentation, social activities, impact of new technology, dissemination of socially pathological phenomena, escapist functions of the media, creation and reproduction of social networks and social groups. The thesis applies an axiological and non- axiological approach to the examined phenomena. The solution of the topic is complemented with findings relating to the specified problems, which have been obtained through an empirical survery.

Game in leisure time of students of grammar schools, aprentice training schools and specialised high schools. The aim of the diploma thesis, "Game in leisure time of students of grammar schools, aprentice training schools and specialised high schools.", was to assess the impact of type of secondary school to pupils leisure activities, in particular, the favour type of leisure games. Within the diploma thesis there was realized empirical research. It was used questionnaire method. 326 respondents (15-25 years) were interviewed. Content is divided into two parts- theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with defining category of youth, introduce with the structure of secondary education in this country, below what it means leisure time for youth, how they spend it and definition of "game", its function and categorization. This diploma thesis "New urban games and their players" treats the new phenomenon of urban games. The text is based on the classical games theory joined with the latest developments in the area and some relevant concepts of urban sociology. From a sociological point of view this thesis explores urban games as a new leisure time phenomenon and clearly states its characteristics as well as its definition. The main focus lies in examining the recent developments in Czech urban games and describing the variety present in urban games today. Other related topics of urban activities are also explained. The mechanics of urban games is explored in the case study of Compagnie, an urban game that took place in Prague in 2010. In the case study, the urban game basics are shown in order to help the general public to understand it. This work is concluded with a socio-demographic analysis of urban game players based on an enquiry done with the participants of the game. The whole text mixes theoretic approach with practical study of urban games, sociological analysis and participatory observation.

Title: Teaching the game of geocaching as a leisure activity at elementary schools Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to promote the game of geocaching as an organised school activity for pupils of upper primary schools. To offer participants the activity they will learn to use in their free time. Methods: The research sample consisted of 32 students from upper primary schools in Prague 4 and Prague 9. There was a pedagogical worker in each group who was helping the students with four theoretical and practical lessons for one month. A questionnaire survey and interview with teachers were used as methods for obtaining data. The questionnaire was presented to the participants before the start of the project and then again one month after its completion. The interview with teachers was carried out only after the intervention. Results: The results of this thesis show that the project participants would like to participate in the game of geocaching in the future. Overall, about a quarter of those surveyed go in for geocaching in their free time, but only 6 % of them were devoted to it after the intervention. Due to the effect of the intervention programme, no demonstrable change of the measured values, obtained from the participants after the project completion, has occurred. Keywords: GPS,...

Title: The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence Objectives: To find out which outdoor activities students from selected primary schools in Kladno district are interested in, specifically which outdoor activities they do and which they would like to learn. Furthermore, to find out what experience with outdoor activities students have and to compare results by gender and place of residence. Method: The research has been performed by quantitative method. To support gathering and collecting necessary inputs specific questionnaire was compiled for students of the 9th grade of primary schools. The research sample consisted of 204 respondents. Gathered inputs have been graphically processed and evaluated. Results: Primary schools offer to teach their students outdoor activities more during sports courses, school in nature and school trips than in physical education classes. Most of these students have experience with outdoor activities from school events, mainly with hiking, alpine skiing and motion games in the natural environment. Title: Sports opportunities in Benešov and its vicinity Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to assess and analyse the sports opportunities in Benešov and its vicinity and to propose, on the basis of the obtained results, certain changes that could improve the current situation. Methods: The thesis uses primarily the analytical method of research. The method was applied in analysing the local sports grounds, sports facilities and sports clubs. In order to gain vital information from the inhabitants of Benešov, a set of interviews was also used. Furthermore, the SWOT analysis was applied as a means of obtaining a clearer assessment of the local sports environment. Results: The local sports situation has been assessed and analysed. The local sports grounds, sports facilities and sports clubs have been analysed. Opinions of the local inhabitants have also been gained by means of a set of interviews. On the basis of obtained information and opinions, various recommendations for improving the current situation have been created. Title: Leisure-time physical activities of students of FTVS UK specialization TVS Aims: To obtain information about students of 3rd year undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport specialization TVS and their habits in leisure activities and sports. Compare the information about students learning the different specializations. Identify, describe and compare other factors affecting the participation of students on lemure-time physical activities and sports. Methods: Collection of information and the actual survey was conducted using questionnaires and document analysis. Subsequently, the results were analyzed using statistical methods and calculations. Results: The survey found that among students of different study directions are the differences in participation in leisure-time physical activities. Students of Sport specialization operate more in competitive sport than other directions, but don't lag behind in participation in leisure-time physical activities. English summary The status of migrants in the social sphere The aim of the work is to identify and describe the position of two groups of European citizens, a worker and a student, migrating over Europe and exercising their rights. On one hand, there is still some discrimination against the EU citizens, and on the other hand, there is some criticism of the ECJ for its excessive benevolence in decision making. The social area stated in the name of the work is intended not only as the area of social security and labour law, but also as the area of access to education and meeting of the cultural needs of people. The thesis is divided into two parts, general and special. Two introductory chapters comprising the general part of the work are devoted to defining of the terms free movement of persons and the European social rights, and their historical development across the primary legislation. The author notices also the historical circumstances and reasons why the developments lead this way. The relevant present legal regulations in the secondary law are analysed in detail and a possible vision for the future of the EU is introduced.
