This diploma thesis deals with the position, leisure time and life of a healthy sibling in a family which takes care of a family member with disabilities. The theoretical part is divided in four chapters, which are aimed at a family, a family with a disabled member, healthy siblings, constellations between siblings, the definition of leisure time, particular developmental psychological characteristics of healthy siblings and disabled siblings and also the actual division of disability. The practical part is based on qualitative research. Due to the semi-structured interviews it attempts to differentiate how the quality of leisure time and especially their own personal life is perceived by healthy siblings themselves.

The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of recreational potential of micro-region Moravskobudějovicko. Main goal is to make the drafts, which should improve the tourism in chosen micro-region. Both for locals and tourists. The thesis contains the research in publications related to recreation, tourism, free time and the possibilities of developing the rural tourism. The main part of the thesis is characteristics of micro-region and the evaluation of present recreational attractiveness in each municipality. The proposals to increase the recreational use are made from structured interviews with the representatives of chosen municipalities and also from field survey. In the end are summarized results and made suggestions for developing micro-region as an attractive recreational area.

The thesis deals with lifelong adult education with a focus on leisure education. The theoretical framework is described as a developmental stage of maturity of the individual. It is also understood the importance of free time and lifelong adult education. In the research part I'm using questionnaires compared the views of both sides of leisure education - DDM directors and adult participants. The aim of this thesis is to clarify the importance of lifelong adult education with a focus on formal education and then determine whether a particular site (Vysocina Region) and the specific type of educational establishment (House of Children and Youth - DDM) is offering sufficiently diverse and is thus perceived and adult participants . The results of the quantitative survey shows that in the area of education DDM menu also caters to the needs of adult participants. The results also point to a provision in the promotion of programs aimed at adults.

Thesis deals with physical activity as a leisure time spending in the 20th century. It compares two organizations which provide conditions for developing physical fitness the Sokol and fitness center. The theoretical part is focused on detailed description of both organizations and basic terms of the topic. The practical part is based on an assumption that today society needs to spend time on active leisure. It uses information obtained from a question-form and observation in order to determine positive influence of both organizations on the society. There is also a comparison of the Sokol and fitness center which is based on outcome from gathered data. Obtained information and theoretical premise are compared at the end of the thesis.

The thesis deals with the leisure time of children in the period of adolescence, which are placed in children's homes, with analysis of assumptions and possibilities of actual implementation of their free time. The theoretical part presents the definition of leisure, its functions and educational appreciation. Characterized children's homes, leisure activities for children growing up in children's homes, educational influence in these institutions and individuals in the period of adolescence. The research section contains a more detailed presentation of respondents and two selected facilities: a children's home in South Moravia and a children's home in the Vysocina region. It describes and compares the leisure activities of children during adolescence, which are placed here and resolving the satisfaction of responding children of spending their free time.

The work focuses on the area integration stay focused on canistherapy as a tool for strenghening social responsibility intact children and children with disabilities and social disadvantage. The theoretical part deals with the issue of spending free time of children and youth, with an emphasis on the possibilities of involving children with special needs in leisure activities. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the historical insights of the integration tendencies in the Czech lands, the definition of integration and inclusion concepts and, last but not least, the field of activities and therapy in the presence of a dog. The research part of the work, realized in the form of a questionnaire, aims to determine the development of social competences of intact children, children with disabilities and social disadvantage during an integration stay with an emphasis on canistherapy. The social development of last decades brings about rapid changes, affecting also medicine and nursing. It also contributed to a positive shift, so a hospitalization of a child does not necessarily mean breaking bonds with its parents, siblings, and the broader family. Yet, a nurse remains an irreplaceable link in the process of child's treatment. It is a nurse who spends most of the time with the child during a hospitalization. A nurse has therefore a great potential of influencing child's adaptation to the hospitalization either in a positive or a negative way. Regardless of health or illness, a child retains a need of play activities. A play is an important healing component, it improves emotional condition, facilitates an adaptation to a changed health situation and enables saturation for activities the disease makes difficult or impossible. This diploma thesis aimed to analyze how spare time and play activities are ensured in small hospitals, regarding personnel, time and material. The author also set the task of finding out what importance the nurses give to their own role in the educational process. The research was conducted in two ways. The qualitative part contains interviews with children of primary school age who answered questions about what they wanted and what children hospitalized in small hospitals generally miss. Hypotheses were subsequently formed according to results of this part. These hypotheses were then tested by a quantitative research. The research group for the quantitative research were nurses working in pediatric departments of hospitals in the regions of Plzen, Karlovy Vary and Central Bohemia. The research shows that many pediatric departments of small and medium-sized hospitals have to deal with nurses' time troubles and with an insufficient staffing in order to fill meaningfully and effectively the child patients' spare time. The results of this research will be used as a platform for improvement of hospitalized children's conditions in one particular department.

This work deals an integration of Moravian Church in Czech society in connection with realization of leisure time activities. The first part is devoted to the issues of interaction of the church in connection with leisure time activities from theoretical point of view. It gives answers to research questions on the basis of literary sources. It summarizes the history of Moravian Church up to the present and its interaction with the society. It also points out its work with people, way of evangelization and general attitude. In the second part there are noted opinions of members of Moravian church, who devoted themselves to leisure time activities. The work compares particular espondents´ statements and highlights their common elements. Then the gained answers are compared with the results of the theoretic research.

In this thesis I would like to focus on the motivations which lead adolescents to physical activity in leisure time (from the perspective of an individual's perspective, socialization of individual's in the peer group and looking at physical activities as one of opportunity for active leisure)As adolescents we will count a youth from 15 to 18.

The thesis contains two parts. The teoretici part deals with the topic of free time and a healthy way of spending it. It also describes the udukational activities in youth hostels, the profession of an educator and it shows some possibilities how educators can influence spending the free time of the teenagers living in youth hostels. The main task of the empirici part is the description of educative effect on a healthy way of spending the free time of teenagers who live in youth hostels is focused on a helthy way of spending the free time.
