The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the key risk factors in the process of internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, thus the process of penetrating into the Chinese market. The thesis includes analysis of the current state in the Chinese market, complemented by a survey. Based on the results of the research, key risks and barriers influencing Czech SMEs in entering the Chinese market were identified. Also measures to these risks and the typical barriers were proposed to help businesses eliminate them.

The thesis provides an analysis of the possibilities for a foreign enterprise to enter the Chinese market. After the introduction of the Chinese economy and its basic characteristics, the thesis focuses on the analysis of different market entry forms. They are divided into export operations, contractual forms of entry in the form of licensing or franchising, and into the capital entry strategy. For each of these forms the legal regulation is discussed along with the useful tips for businesses. The advantages and potential risks are also highlighted. The final chapter of the thesis focuses on the intellectual property protection in China and its regulation. It affects all businesses, regardless the form they choose. The work is based on the current version of Chinese laws and on the latest commentaries on these regulations. It should serve to all foreign entrepreneurs who decide to start business activities in China and take advantage of the countless opportunities that this country has to offer.

Diploma thesis "Optimization of an entrance fee as a way to tourism activities regulation as well as an instrument for financing of agencies managing large protected areas in the Czech Republic" deals with the option of introducing an entrance fee into the Czech National Parks. As a result, the number of tourists visiting parks could be regulated and the agencies managing those parks could profit from the entrance fee payments. The entrance fee should become a tool for negative stimulation to the use of environmental goods and a tool for internalization of externalities. The thesis introduces an economic optimization model, which maximizes the tourism related social welfare and discusses the implementation options of the entrance fee to the Czech National Parks. It also demonstrates a simplified real data application.

In the Theoretical part of the work thoroughly describes the different business strategies, especially PEST analysis, analysis of the industry environment and analysis of competitive forces in the industry according to Porter. In the practical part of the thesis analyzes applied to the pharmaceutical industry and identifies the barriers to entry for new businesses that market. The thesis also includes the formation of the new pharmacy and all requirements related to it. In the final part of the thesis formulated recommendations which should serve prospective operators to decide whether to enter the industry or not.

Small and medium sized companies (SMEs) are very important components of each developed economy. They are considered a key factor of the economic development and create a healthy business environment. This matter is interrelated with challenges that SMEs face when entering foreign markets. SME state support programmes equally play in this process an important role. The thesis therefore deals with the risk factors of the internationalization process of SMEs, specifically those that operate in food industry. The main objectives of this paper are to identify the key risk factors that affect enterprises when entering and engaging in foreign markets and to formulate a concrete set of recommendations that are conductive to reduction or even elimination of the identified risk factors. As a result, the research with its finding intends to contribute to more efficient management of small and medium sized enterprises.

Thus, the importance of studying the internationalization process has become with the increasing competitiveness very important. This diploma thesis deals with risk of the internationalization process of small and medium-sized enterprises that is a process of entry to the foreign markets. Moreover, it deals with what is the role of the European Union in the internationalization process. The goal of the thesis is to identify the risks of the internationalization process of small and medium-sized enterprises and to find out if the European integration helps small and medium-sized enterprises in this process. The suggested recommendations are intended to show how to support the small and medium-sized enterprises in the internationalization process.

Martinů, B.: The analysis of the beer industry in the Czech republic. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2014. This thesis describes the dimension and the development of the brewery sector in the Czech Republic according to the selected indicators. The theoretical part defines the development of the agrarian sector with a focus on the issues shaping the economic context of agribusiness. It also deals with the definition of an agricultural market and the characteristics of the food sector. And last but not least, the thesis describes critical connections and historical context of the development of the brewing industry. The work identifies the fundamental factors shaping brewery industry in the Czech Republic and in particular the development of this sector, with an evaluation of the changes that occur the analyzed period, with a description of causation. The work focuses on the factors conditioning the existence and successful functioning of the Czech brewery industry, such as the volume of beer produced, the number of breweries, consumption and foreign trade. The remaining part of the thesis analyzes the individual determinants of the market structure and follows up the categorization of the Czech breweries, the differences in their production and market strategies, such as concentration, entry barriers or competition strategies, and it is here where the whole commodity vertical of the beer production is defined. The gained knowledge can be further used to estimate the future development of the Czech brewery industry and also to anticipate the changes that may occur in this sector.
