Levá, Nikola January 2016 (has links)
The thesis solves the processing of a project documentation of a veterinary clinic in Nachod. The project and attachments are processed in accordance with current laws, regulations and standards. The Veterinary Clinic is located on parcels č.122 / 3 and 122/4, which are parts of the cadastral municipality Nachod. Near the land under the adjoining local roads, there are utilities routed. In the building of veterinary clinic, there will be 2 surgeries, 2 operating rooms, laboratory, pharmacy, grocery breeders and editorial office. Veterinary Clinic is a two-storey building with a rectangular ground plan with dimensions of approximately 40 x 19 meters. The building has 3 main entrances. Admission to the clinic and store are situated on the northwestern side. Entry into the pharmacy and the editorial office, which is located on the 2nd floor, are on the southeast side. The supporting wall system is made of aerated concrete, ceiling is made of reinforced concrete. On the building's flat roof with reinforced concrete supporting structure.

Penzion a kavárna "Na Fügnerce" / Boarding House and Cafe "Na Fügnerce"

Kaňková, Ivana Unknown Date (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the elaboration of project documentation for the new building Boarding houseand Café "Na Fügnerce", including the required assessments according to the assignment of the diploma thesis. These are two proposed blocks of buildings, a three-storey other basement and a two-storey non-basement, both of which are interconnected by a steel connecting footbridge and a roofed part with a single-skin vegetation roof. The proposal itself is an interesting team because its land is in the spa town of Podebrady, in the very heart of this town. The task was, not only to fit into the current gap formed after the demolition of family houses, but also the architectural design of similar buildings so that they fit into the surrounding buildings. In the surroundings, the architecture of functionalist buildings is combined with the historicism of residential or multifunctional buildings, as well as buildings of industrial and Art Nouveau elements of urban furniture. The proposed capacity of the buildings is 18 beds (the proposal was considered with the stay of people with limited mobility and orientation), the cafe has 44 seats and a meeting room is designed for 22 people (this space can be presented by a mobile partition). The premises are always designed with a separate hygienic background. The construction system of the buildings is designed as a longitudinal wall with a reinforcing staircase core, the load-bearing masonry is designed primarily from sand-lime perforated blocks. The ceiling structure is designed as a reinforced concrete monolithic.

Inelastic Dynamic Behavior And Design Of Hybrid Coupled Wall Systems

Hassan, Mohamed 01 January 2004 (has links)
A key consideration in seismic design of buildings is to ensure that the lateral load resisting system has an appropriate combination of strength, stiffness and energy dissipation capacity. Hybrid coupled wall systems, in which steel beams are used to couple two or more reinforced concrete shear walls in series, can be designed to have these attributes and therefore have the potential to deliver good performance under severe seismic loading. This research presents an investigation of the seismic behavior of this type of structural system. System response of 12- and 18-story high prototypes is studied using transient finite element analyses that accounts for the most important aspects of material nonlinear behavior including concrete cracking, tension stiffening, and compressive behavior for both confined and unconfined concrete as well as steel yielding. The developed finite element models are calibrated using more detailed models developed in previous research and are validated through numerous comparisons with test results of reinforced concrete walls and wall-beam subassemblages. Suites of transient inelastic analyses are conducted to investigate pertinent parameters including hazard level, earthquake record scaling, dynamic base shear magnification, interstory drift, shear distortion, coupling beam plastic rotation, and wall rotation. Different performance measures are proposed to judge and compare the behavior of the various systems. The analyses show that, in general, hybrid coupled walls are particularly well suited for use in regions of high seismic risk. The results of the dynamic analyses are used to judge the validity of and to refine a previously proposed design method based on the capacity design concept and the assumption of behavior dominated by the first vibration mode. The adequacy of design based on the pushover analysis procedure as promoted in FEMA-356 (2000) is also investigated using the dynamic analysis results. Substantial discrepancies between both methods are observed, especially in the case of the 18-story system. A critical assessment of dynamic base shear magnification is also conducted, and a new method for estimating its effects is suggested. The method is based on a modal combination procedure that accounts for presence of a plastic hinge at the wall base. Finally, the validity of limitations in FEMA-368 (2000) on building height, particularly for hybrid coupled wall systems, is discussed.

Optimering av en ytterväggsprodukt : En undersökning av alternativa isoleringsmaterial / Optimization of an external wall product : An investigation of alternative insulation materials

Karlsson, Sofie, Geijersson, Agnes January 2018 (has links)
The AquaVilla CasaBona wall system currently contains the insulation material EPS, which has shown weaknesses while exposed to fire. The aim for this study was to suggest an alternative insulation material to EPS regarding fire, energy use and U-vale as well as energy use and carbon dioxide emissions for manufacturing. The purpose was that the suggested alternative insulation material should be able to be used by manufacturers in wall products as an alternative to EPS. In this study, four different insulation materials were examined by critically reviewing scientific articles and literature, as well as field studies and calculations with the energy calculation program VIP-energy. The insulation materials investigated were expanded polystyrene, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate and rockwool. The findings showed that EPS, PUR and PIR were not nearly as good as rockwool regarding fire. When manufacturing the various insulation materials, EPS gives the best results in terms of carbon dioxide emissions. EPS gives the best results regarding energy use for manufacturing when the insulation layer in the investigated wall system was 200 mm thick, but when the wall was given a U-value of 0,112 W/m2K, rockwool got the best results in this category. PUR and PIR gave the worst results regarding both energy use and carbon dioxide emissions at manufacturing. Rockwool generated the best results regarding energy use, but all of the materials met the requirements from Boverkets Byggregler. When comparing all the investigated characteristics of the various insulation materials, the most suitable material for an external wall was considered to be rockwool.
