Officiellement concédé à la France par la convention franco-chinoise du 16 novembre 1899, le territoire de Kouangtchéou Wan était, aux yeux de Paul Doumer, Gouverneur Général de l’Indochine à cette époque-là, un « engin » important et indispensable en vue de réaliser son ambitieux projet politique et économique vis-à-vis de la Chine méridionale, et pour le futur développement français en Extrême-Orient. L’étude portant sur l’histoire de la France à Kouangtchéou Wan vise à faire ressortir l’évolution d’une cité portuaire chinoise sous l’administration française, au cours de la première moitié du siècle précédent. Il s’agit, d’abord, de découvrir les initiatives stratégiques et géopolitiques motivant la prise dudit territoire, l’organisation administrative et judiciaire adoptée ainsi que les réformes organiques qui ont résulté des changements de la circonstance locale ou voisine et qui ont plus ou moins provoqué l’évolution de cette cité ; puis, d’exposer les espoirs de la France sur ce territoire et ses œuvres réalisées ; enfin, d’étudier les raisons pour lesquelles les espoirs de la France à Kouangtchéou Wan ont été déçus / Officially conceded to France by the Franco-Chinese convention of November 16, 1899, the territory of Guangzhou Wan was, in the eyes of Paul Doumer, General Governor of Indochina at that time, an important and indispensable “machine” for achieving his ambitious political and economic project with regard to the southern China, and for the future French development in the Far East. The study on the history of France in Guangzhou Wan aims to reveal the evolution of a Chinese port city under the French administration, during the first half of the previous century. It’s about, at first, to discover the strategic and geo-political initiative that motivate the takeover of the territory, the administrative and judicial organization adopted, as well as the organic reforms that resulted from the changes of the local or neighboring circumstance, witch had more or less provoked the evolution of this city; then, to expose the hopes of France on this territory and its realized works; finally, to study the raisons why the hopes of France to Guangzhou Wan have been disappointed

Att koppla samman nätverk över geografiskt olika platser har blivit allt vanligare i dagens samhälle. Rapporten kommer belysa olika WAN-lösningar för att göra detta möjligt. De olika lösningar som kommer belysas i denna rapport är att hyra egen fiber, lager2-länk, MPLS och även VPN. Det kommer göras jämförelser mellan dessa lösningar när det gäller kostnad, säkerhet, hastighet och tillförlitlighet. Detta har gjorts med vetenskapliga artiklar och intervjuer men rapporten innefattar även en praktisk tillämpling i form av ett experiment. / To connect networks across geographically diverse sites has become increasingly common in todays society. This report will highlight the various WAN solutions to make this possible. The different solutions that will be highlighted in this report is rent own fiber , Layer 2 link, MPLS , and VPN. There will be comparisons between these solutions in terms of cost, safety , speed and reliability. This has been done with scientific articles and interviews , but the report also includes a practical laboration.

ITC/USA 2006 Conference Proceedings / The Forty-Second Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 23-26, 2006 / Town and Country Resort & Convention Center, San Diego, California / The Central Test and Evaluation Investment Program (CTEIP) Integrated Network Enhanced Telemetry (iNET) program is currently testing a wireless local area networking (WLAN) in an L-band telemetry (TM) channel to evaluate the feasibility and capabilities of enhancing traditional TM methods in a seamless wide area network (WAN). Several advantages of networking are real-time command and control of instrumentation formats, quick-look acquisition, data retransmission and recovery (gapless TM) and test point real-time verification. These networking functions, and all others, need to be tested and evaluated. The iNET team is developing a WLAN based on 802.x technologies to test the feasibility of the enhanced telemetry implementation for flight testing.

Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die Möglichkeit diskutiert, genderspezifischen sozialen Wandel in Schwellen- und Entwicklungsländern über Mikrokreditvergabesysteme anzustoßen. Anhand einer in Mittelägypten durchgeführten Studie mit mehrfach diskriminierten Frauen wird gezeigt, wie Mikrokredite die Akkumulation nicht nur von ökonomischem, sondern vor allem auch von kulturellem und sozialem Kapital im Bourdieu'schen Sinne unterstützen können. Wenn in diesem Kontext eine Veränderung des symbolischen Kapitals gelingt, kann dies zu neuen Wahrnehmungs-, Denk- und Handlungsschemata der Beteiligten und zu Strukturveränderungen auf der Makroebene führen. Die theoretische Modellierung von genderspezifischem sozialem Wandel erfolgt in diesem Artikel entlang empirischer Daten, die von den Autorinnen in Mittelägypten erhoben wurden.
