This thesis deals with the improving of website business performance through the optimization with a focus on user experience. Its concern is not how to accumulate more traffic to the website but rather how to motivate website users, persuade and help them achieve desired goals. The aim is to introduce the concept of User Experience (UX) and Conversion Optimization (CRO). Further on, to suggest a general process of the website optimization focused on user experience and to apply this procedure in a case study. The contribution of this thesis is to link the UX/CRO concepts that provide users with a positive brand experience and allow organizations a sustainable competitive advantage, differentiation and higher marketing ROI.

The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a system that analyses data from the web mentioning Czech grocery chain stores. Implemented system is able to download such data automatically, perform sentiment analysis of the data, extract locations and chain stores' names from the data and index the data. The system also includes a user interface showing results of the analyses. The first part of the thesis surveys the state of the art in collecting data from web, sentiment analysis and indexing documents. A description of the discussed system's design and its implementation follows. The last part of the thesis evaluates implemented system

The main objective is the design and implementation of an administration interface for an extraction system implemented as web application on Java platform. The application provides an editor for extraction tasks specification in the form of interactive graphs. It includes the possibility to upload and process an ontology from a file and generate graph according to selected ontology properties. The solution ensures integration with the FITLayout tool.

This diploma thesis deals with the creation of the Virtual Measuring Instruments web application. This tool mainly enables us to simulate the real measuring instruments widely used in the laboratories of FEEC BUT. It is intended to serve students for initial acquaintance with specific devices. The theoretical part is focused on the research into the web applications programming and suitable programming languages to implement the proposed application are selected. Furthermore, the specific virtualized devices are described. The result of the experimental part consists in creating a universal application interface to extend the proposed application with other devices. Finally, the specific tests of the developed platform are presented.

For a period of three months, we've been collecting specific language resources in the group of breeders and provides a word-forming and semantic analysis of the found words, including examples of use. It also brings special dictionary of breeder's slang. Based on selected lexemes, it tests the acceptability/unacceptability of specific words outside this interest group. It verifies the hypothesis that these lexemes will be assessed by the non-breeding group as less acceptable or unacceptable.
