This thesis deals with children with ?mathematical? defects. Dyscalculia and other are usually defects in communication between the child and surrounding world. The goal is to teach these children mathematics on the level they are able to understand. The thesis is divided into four parts. In the first two parts it deals with the dyscalculia. In the second part it deals with ?reeducational? technics. In the third and fourth parts you can find worksheets that have been created by me. The work of children with dyscalculia is valued there by me afterwards. I put focus on work of pupils, e.g. how they?ve found the work with the worksheets and if they brought some value and benefits while working with them. The thesis shows that we use the most common methods and technics that have to be proved by children. This should be a usefull publication for teachers who are working with children with the dyscalculia. In general, it should bring a usefull hand for a better orientation in the problems of dyscalculia and explain it.

The Effects of Gender and MI-Infusing Instruction on Fourth Graders¡¦ Application of MI in Science Learning and Their Improvement in Technological CreativityChen, Li-Yu 27 January 2003 (has links)
The purposes of this study were (a) to examine the effectiveness of the MI-Infusing Instruction on fourth graders¡¦ applications of MI in Science Learning and their improvement in technological creativity; and (b) to examine the relationships between gender, multiple intelligences, and technological creativity.
An unequal group pretest-posttest design was employed in the study. Two fourth-grade classes of a public elementary school in Kaohsung were selected based on convenience sampling. The participants were divided into the experimental group (n = 23) and the control group (n = 33). The employed instruments included MI-Infusing Learning Scale, Technological Creativity Test, and several self-developed worksheets. The applied analysis methods were Descriptive Statistics, Multivariate Analysis of Covariance, Discriminant Analysis, and Canonical Correlation.
The main findings of this study were as follows:
1. The MI-Infusing Instruction had significant effects on enhancing fourth graders¡¦ naturalist and interpersonal intelligences.
2. The MI-Infusing Instruction was effective on enhancing fourth graders¡¦ fluency, elaboration, and visual design.
3. The girls¡¦ interpersonal intelligence was higher than that of the boys, but such gender difference was not found in the performance of technological creativity.
4. There was a significant canonical correlation between the indices of multiple intelligences (linguistic intelligence, naturalist intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence) and those of technological creativity (fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and visual design).
5. The fourth graders¡¦ abilities of technological creativity could effectively predict their ability groups of naturalist intelligence.
Finally, the researcher proposed some suggestions for educational instruction and future studies.

Annotation In my dissertation I deal with whole numbers and how to teach them using a computer and the interactive whiteboard. The dissertation is divided into three parts: a theoretical one, a questionnaire quest an a practical part. In the first part, which is devoted to theory, I examine teaching principles and the way of testing students´ knowledge, skills and learnig habits. In addition, I also examine possibilities for using a computer in the lessons focused on work with the interactive whiteboard. Part 2 provides my own questionnaire guest which I carried out in selected elementary schools. Its objective was to find out about the presence and use of interactive whiteboards as well as teachers´experience when using this teaching aid. Part 3 {--} a practical one {--} comprises worksheets prepared by me for the interactive board and shows their usage in teaching lessons in the seventh form of elementary school. Futher I present the findings which I gained when teaching my own lessons.

Undersökningen har gått ut på att jag gjort observationer och ljudinspelningar på olika geografiska platser med syftet att finna inspiration till låtskrivande inom populärmusik. Skillnaderna mellan platserna har valts med hjälp av faktorerna: kännedom, rörelse och storlek. Jag upplever att det finns en stor del av inspiration att hämta på en geografisk plats och att de olika faktorerna påverkar mig på olika sätt under processen. Metoden är däremot något som inte är en garanti till inspiration inom låtskrivande utan den är högst personlig.

Eine Digitalisierung des EAWS-Verfahrens kann bei der Identifikation ergonomischer Probleme und der Ableitung darauf aufbauender Maßnahmen unterstützen. Aktuelle EAWS-Digitalisierungen beschränken sich mehrheitlich auf die Darstellung von EAWS-Punkten und Belastungen. Um EAWS-Auswertungen bedarfsgerecht weiterzuent-wickeln, wurden mit Hilfe einer Online-Befragung der Bedarf und die Anforderungen an EAWS-Auswertungsfunktionen und Gestaltungs-elemente ermittelt. Hierzu wurden auch der EAWS-Nutzungskontext sowie die eingesetzten EAWS-Auswertungssysteme und deren Bewertung erhoben. Insgesamt nahmen 61 Personen u. a. aus den Bereichen Arbeits-planung, IE, Ergonomie, Gesundheitswesen und Management teil. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, für was das EAWS-Verfahren eingesetzt wird, welche Personen daran beteiligt sind, welche Systeme genutzt und welchen Auswertungsfunktionen ein besonderer Bedarf zugeordnet wird. Daraus lassen sich Schwerpunkte für die Weiterentwicklung von EAWS-Auswertungen ableiten.

Title: Creation and verification of educational programs for students of lower secondary education in ZOO Pilsen The diploma thesis is focused on the ZOOs in the Czech Republic and their educational activities. The most examined one is Zoological and botanical garden in Pilsen, for which I created two educational programs including worksheets for students and teachers. The educational programs were then tested at a selected group of students from 8th grade of lower secondary school. The evaluation was based on the success of students in solving tasks in the worksheets. The practical output of this thesis are designed educational programs (methodology for teacher) and worksheets for ZOO Pilsen (programs Mysterious Africa, Far Australia) including correct solution.

The aim of this thesis was to prepare, implement and evaluate an excursion as one of the organization forms of fieldtrips for lower secondary pupils from schools in Znojmo benefiting from the natural site of the National Park Podyjí, in specific the location called Kraví hora. In this case, it is a botanical the med field trip. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with general characteristics of the National Park Podyjí from various nature views highlighting its specially protected areas. This is followed by a description of specific field trip aspects and the most frequently used teaching methods together. The practical part contains, among other things, methodological instructions for teachers and pupils as well as didactic materials (worksheets, didactic test), included in the appendix. Questionnaire surveys for pupils and teachers are part of the last empirical chapter. The aim of the questionnaire was to record and evaluate thoughts, feelings and attitudes of pupils from the lower secondary school to the specific field trip, its implementation and overall organization.
