The subjects of the thesis are territorial disputes in South China Sea and East China Sea region. The theoretical part focuses on historical and contemporary context of disputes. In practical part development in region of last decade is shown. Material kontext of disputes is focused on fisheries which is the important source of livelihood there. The concluding proposal part contains some suggestions of solutions of the situation in this region.

This work deals with the logistics processes in the retail chain. The theoretical part describes the development and current state of logistics chains in delivering of the goods from the suppliers to the store shelves. The practical part of this work tries to use the application of the principles of logistics to movement of customers in the store space. Among the methods used belongs the study and application of literature, mainly foreign. The thesis also discusses checkout of customer. The analysis is based on data provided by one specific retailer. At the end of the practical part, the author attempts to draft the proposals enabling the company the improvement of the productivity of checkout and also describes possible changes in metrics that measure the productivity. The aim is to map productivity measurement of checkout of customers in the retail chain and suggest improvements. The second goal of this thesis is to try to prove that logistics is not standing outside the rest of functional departments of the company (neither above them nor below them) and should therefore cooperate very closely with these departments.

The aim of this work was to prepare measuring workplace, perform the verication measurement, including the measurement phase, on the cylindrical surface. Measured data were compared with theoretical assumptions and were calculated directional patterns. Probes for measurement in the near sield were designed and realized.

The thesis deals with the issue of pedestrian zones, pedestrian paths and pedestrian connections in historic urban space. The analyze of historical and urbanistic development of the public space leads to define the specific character and the main stakes of public space design in historic urban areas. On three examples of different historical city cores, the research describes the mutual relation between the space created and the constituting composition elements. It defines the main lines of pedestrian movement and compares their current and historical characer. In this way, we are able to analyze, identify and compare different approaches to historic core public space renewal. As a result of the research, possible general principles and guidelines to historic urban space design are formulated.

The diploma thesis deals with analysis of special economic zones in India and China. First, the general characteristics of special economic zones is given, the following section describes conditions of creation of special economic zones in China and India. Then the thesis focuses on the development of gross domestic product, foreign direct investments and exports in Chinese and Indian zones and relevant areas. The final chapter assesses the benefits of setting up special economic zones for India and China and compares the zones in both countries. The thesis finds out the development of special economic zones in China successful, while in India this policy did not reach satisfactory results. Fundamental roots of successful or unsuccessful functioning of Chinese and Indian zones are mentioned too.

The topic of this diploma thesis is proposal of building zone with engineering design of the locality „Nad Hřbitovem“ in the village Drnovice. The diploma thesis includes a proposal of 4 variants which are elaborated in detail.The aim of this work is to design urban development according to relevant standards, to ensure safe traffic.

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice brownfields. Definuje pojem brownfields a popisuje jeho jednotlivé typy. Dále se zabývá trendy, které tuto problematiku doprovází a zkoumá možné přístupy k řešení brownfields. Součástí je analýza přístupů vybraných zemí k řešení tohoto tématu. Vzhledem k příležitosti čerpání finančních prostředků EU v programovacím období 2007 - 2013, která je České republice přislíbena, analyzuje též možnosti jejich částečného využití v oblasti regenerace brownfields. Poslední část se věnuje rozboru 4 případových studií s nástinem jejich řešení.

This paper concetrates on the unemployment. In the theory there are described various terms of the labour market field. In the practical part you can find the comparison of the rate of unumplyment in chosen district Tábor and Písek and as well you can learn, how the industrial zone affects the unemployment.
