Hodnocení motorické výkonnosti a držení těla u dětí mladšího školního věku / Assessment of motor performance and body holding in young school-age children

Pinkasová, Lenka January 2018 (has links)
Title: Assessment of motor performance and body holding in young school-age children Objectives: The aim of this thesis is the assessment of motor performance, body holding and basic information concerning movement activity in young school-age children and to reveal any possible interrelations between these data. Hypothesis: 1. The volume of movement load in young school-age children affects their motor performance and body holding. 2. Motor performance evaluated by a modification of the UNIFITTEST has a significant correlation with body holding in young school age children. Methods: In order to determine the level of motor performance of the children, I used a modification of the UNIFITTEST (Měkota et al., 2002), while I also evaluated their basic somatic parameters. Their body holding was evaluated according to Mathias (Hošková and Matoušová 2007), Jaroš and Lomníček (Hošková and Matoušová 2007) and Adams's Test (Haladová and Nechvátalová 2005). Information about the frequency of the children's sports activities and their lifestyle, I collected with the form of a short survey. The research group consists of 19 boys and 11 girls with an average age of 9 years old (age range 8-11 years - by 1.1.2018), mean body height of 1.4 m (σ=8,2 cm) and mean body weight of 36.5 kg (σ=9,1 kg). Komparace účinků aerobikových a jógových aktivit na kardiovaskulární systém vysokoškolských studentek s důrazem na prevenci zdraví a optimalizaci životního stylu / The effects confrontation of the aerobic and yoga activities upon the cardiovascular system of the college students with the emphasison the preventive health programs and life style optimalization

KOKEŠ, Radim January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to find and compare the physical fitness level of the college students in relation to the aerobic and yoga activities. I also aimed to explore the effects of these activities on the cardiovascular system of women, and to determine the physical load improvement which could influence the health condition and lifestyle in a positive way. 237 students of the University of South Bohemia in ČeskéBudějovice participated in the research. They were 20 up to 23 years old and they were divided into two groups according to their hobbies. They underwent the two-term long physical programs - the aerobic one and the yoga one. To compare the results of these programs I used the anthropometric and motometric methods and a questionnaire as well - BMI, Ruffier´s test, T-test, Spearman´s correlation coefficient and the circadian rhythm, lifestyle, emotional state and self-image based questionnaire. The statistic analysis of gained data shows a considerable change as for the Ruffier index of physical fitness, and this is just a result of the intervention physical program use within both of the experimental groups as for the level of importance p<0,001. These results confirm the hypothesis H1 and H3 and a contributive effect on the physical fitness of the college students either. BMI of the experimental aerobic group also shows an important change as for the level of importance p<0,01. This result confirms the hypothesis H2 and the fact that the aerobic program has a contributive effect on the BMI as for the ES. As for the experimental yoga group, there were not seen any changes and therefore the hypothesis H4 was not confirmed either. The circadian rhythm questionnaire analysis shows that due to the physical stress, these students often face depressions. The gained data show a low level of cardiovascular indicators as for the entrance measurement, and a significant improvement during a regular intentional use of proper physical exercises - both aerobic and yoga ones. This is very important for the preventive health programs and the active lifestyle of women during their college studies.

Bohata, Pavel January 2018 (has links)
Title: Leisure time activities and motor performance among school aged children Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to evaluate a level of motor performance and leisure time activities among school children aged 12 - 14 years, on elementary school Boženy Němcové in Litoměřice. We want to know, if students with extended teaching of music and aesthetics will get worse results compared to students without extended teaching. Methods: Study presents empirical quantitative research and 86 students participate in it. Level of motor performance was determined by the test battery called Unifittest 6 - 60 and structure of leisure time activities was monitored by the part of the sociological questionnaire called COMPASS II. Amount of substucaneous fat was measured by the multifrequency bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). We werified our hypotheses by the two sample t-test and with coefficient of effect size Cohens'd. Results: On the basis of evaluated results the statistically signifiant diference was not found in all hypotheses between comparator groups with level of significance (p ≤ 0,05). Cohens'd proved only small or no effect size, except for girls in Leger test where we proved medium effect size (d = 0,5). There wasn't signifiant diference in the structure of leisure time activities. Key words:...

Purpose of my graduation thesis is to find out the influence of a targeted physical activity upon formation of a correct posture habit by pupils of sekunda and tercie at a multiannual high school Česko-anglické gymnázium in České Budějovice. There were 34 probands participating in the research and devided into two groups, experimental and checking, where as both groups counted 17 probands. Both groups were put under an entering test that analysed posture according to Jaroš and Lomíček, shuttle run 4 x 10 metres, which specially tests fitness, and tests for shortened and weakened muscles. Classes of health PE with the experimental group took place under my leading in the following six weeks. The checking group continued with ordinary PE according to the school curriculum under leading of it{\crq}s school teacher. After aforesaid six weeks took place a check out measurement idetical with the entering test. In the entering test 88% of pupils in experimental group had correct posture and 12% had poor posture while 94% pupils of the checking group had correct posture and 6% had poor posture. After six weeks of exercising with the experimental group had 94% of pupils in the check out test correct posture and 6% had excellent posture. 88% of the checking group had in the check out test correct posture and 12% had poor posture. The outcomes displayed that it is possible to improve a posture habit under an influence of a targeted physical activity.
