We are living in the era of financial uncertainty and high volatility on financial markets. According to some experts, these circumstances will have a significant impact on the investment conventions of Czech investors in the future. Economists are afraid of even stronger conservatism and skepticism on the field of investment tools. The gab between the yield of Czech and American or Australian family portfolio will be most probably deepen thanks to this. My master thesis has the goal to briefly define financial products which are available for Czech investors. Furthermore I also explain reasons of significant differences between the average portfolio of assets and credits of Czech, eastern and western European family.

Title: Eating habits of children in sports primary schools Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out and compare the eating habits of selected children from sports and non-sports classes at primary schools with a sports focus. Methods: In the research part, a survey was chosen, the aim of which was to obtain the necessary information regarding the eating habits of a selected group of students. A total of 208 respondents aged 10-15 participated in the survey. Results: The obtained average BMI values of all respondents are below the 75th percentile, which indicates the values of optimal and proportional body weight. We found different eating habits between respondents of sports and non-sports classes. Respondents from non-sports classes have worse eating habits than respondents from sports classes. However, surprising differences were evaluated in the possibilities of spending free time. A total of 39.6% of respondents spend time at the weekend at home or in other activities, such as watching television. Of this, 22.6% are respondents from sports classes, which is more than respondents from non- sports classes (17.1%). A total of 60.4% of respondents engage in sports activities in their free time, where respondents from non-sports classes are more represented (31.2%). Keywords:...

Diploma thesis Fenomén labužnictví a časopisy věnující se gastronomii na území České republiky v letech 2004-2012 is devoted to the questions of publishing gastronomical magazines in Czech republic in the years 2004-2012 and describes the culinary trend which is frequent issue of the Czech media discourse in the year 2012. The first parts of the thesis deal with the sociological perspectives on food, its role within society is explained as well as its ability to produce the meanings and symbols and to express social differentition. The attitude of Czech population towards food and lifestyle is characterized. The following chapter focuses on the culinary trend in various kinds of masmedia content, it reveals the context of the trend, its impact and the way it is represented in Czech republic. The last two chapters of the thesis deal with the gastronomical magazines, which are divided into two main categories according to their content. The current situation on the Czech market with magazines is explained. The final chapter focuses on selected gastronomical magazines F.O.O.D. Apetit and Gurmet which are analyzed from the point of their sections arrangment, graphic design, advertisement and language. Short semiotic analysis of selected articles is presented.

This diploma thesis deals in detail with the matter of amendments to documentary credits. The amendments are analysed in terms of their causes, subjects that may initiate their execution, and their process itself. Also analysis of respective articles of interpretation rules UCP 600 relating to credit's amendments is included. Prior to the above mentioned analysis of amendments there is a part regarding the term of documentary credit, its process, regulation and contemporary position in international trade. In the connection with credit amendments the attention is given to the techniques of their execution, namely through the SWIFT system. The subject of the last part of the thesis is the quantitative analysis of credit amendments on the example of the analysis of real transactions which are assessed from various points of view. Statistical analyses are carried out aiming at considering of the existence of the relation between the region of the credit applicant and the number of credit amendments and between the credit amount and the number of amendments.

Obesity is a serious metabolic disease that often occurs in childhood. Up to 55 % of obese children continue to be obese until adolescence and then 80 % of these obese adolescents remain obese in adulthood. This diploma thesis follows the results of the first round of the study Childhood Obesity Prevalence and Treatment (COPAT). Analyzes the data found in 2009-2010 in relation with the results from 2018. The aim of this work was to determine the prevalence of overweight, obesity, metabolic syndrome, hidden (normal-weight) obesity and to examine the factors potentially contributing to the development of excessive body weight in the participants in the second round of COPAT study. After eight years, 12 % of the original sample, ie 246 probands (150 women and 96 men), were repeatedly examined within the diploma thesis. The examinations took place at the Institute of Endocrinology in Prague and consisted of fasting blood, clinical examination (blood pressure and pulse measurement; determination of body composition by bioimpedance analysis) and anthropometric examination. All participants also completed an on-line questionnaire consisting of three parts (personalized questionnaire; Eating inventory questionnaire; Baecke questionnaire of habitual physical activity). This master thesis focuses on contemporary hunting customs and their use in practice. It shows attemts by hunting clubs and societies as well as individual hunters to maintain Czech hunting customs. The thesis aims to present and evaluate various hunting habits and ceremonies in order to make assessment regarding current practice. The thesis has goal of finding how the social control of contemporary Czech game management is being executed in relation to the basic values of said society, respect for the nature and its animals. Above all this work tries to find out if the social control is maintained with hunting customs. Theoretical part of this thesis analyzes normatively the ideal procedures and forms of hunting practice as prescribed by the hunters code and professional guidelines, it also analyzes hunting from the perspective of existing legal framework. Research aimed at gaining real-life experience with hunting practice had been conducted between 2015 and 2016 among selected hunting clubs and societies. Ústavní zvyklosti v České republice / Constitutional conventions in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis focuses on constitutional conventions in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to analyze their role in the Czech constitutional system. The work focuses on five areas where the influence of constitutional customs is often spoken. Priority is given to exploring the places where several constitutional institutions are interwoven because it is precisely on them that the power of constitutional conventions is best documented. It focuses in particular on how the practices have been observed in the past and how other constitutional actors have responded. The thesis examines the influence of introducing the direct election of the president to constitutional conventions. A directly elected president may feel more legitimate, and in order to gain a stronger position for himself, he may tend to violate some constitutional conventions or try to introduce new ones. As a result, the finding that the Czech constitution is still a relatively new document and that there was not enough time to fully establish most of the constitutional conventions. However, some constitutional conventions are already becoming an integral part of the constitutional order, whose strength will be decided by the following years. Obesity and the number overweight of children are currently major global issues. According to the Regional Office for Europe (2006) obesity has risen three times over the last two decades worldwide. The attention is currently focused on health promotion and disease prevention among the population through comprehensive health education starting in the early age of individuals, aimed to slow down the increasing incidence of obesity and related health issues. This thesis discusses the pedagogical aspects of health, specifically the options on how to shape nutritional habits of elementary and middle school students and how to systematically deepen the required knowledge about healthy nutrition by implementation of nutrition education programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationships between dietary habits and healthy nutrition knowledge of grade nine students in elementary schools from the South Bohemian region in Czech Republic.
