Bakgrund: Vikten av sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsinsatser ur ett sjuksköterskeperspektiv är väl belyst inom forskningen samtidigt som forskningen kring patientperspektivet av sjuksköterskans omvårdnad inte är lika väl belyst. För att kunna tillämpa en god omvårdnad behövs breda aspekter från både patientens- och sjuksköterskans perspektiv. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa patienters perspektiv på sjuksköterskans omvårdnad inom vuxenpsykiatrisk heldygnsvård. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie vars resultat inkluderade 28 vetenskapliga artiklar, som systematiskt granskades och analyserades enligt Bettany-Saltikov och McSherry (2016). Resultat: Fem kategorier utformades efter bearbetning av extraherad data och berör patientens erfarenheter av sjuksköterskans omvårdnad: (1) Vikten av en respektfull relation mellan patient och sjuksköterska, (2) Vikten av att bli sedd som en hel människa, (3) Vikten av sjuksköterskans empatiska förhållningssätt, (4) Vikten av inbjudande kommunikation och (5) Vikten av att få ta del av information kring sin vård. Konklusion: Litteraturstudien lyfter fram vikten av sjuksköterskans engagemang och empati, som bygger upp partnerskapet mellan patient och sjuksköterska, vilket skapar trygghet för patienten. Vikten av sjuksköterskans empatiska förmåga gör det möjligt att se patienten där patienten befinner sig, istället för att anta vad patienten erfar och önskar. Brister finns i hur patienter upplever sjuksköterskans omvårdnad. Implikation: Resultatet kan användas av samtliga omvårdnadsprofessioner för att skapa goda relationer och utveckla arbetet till en bättre vård. Ytterligare forskning behövs, då resultatet visat på kunskapsluckor hos sjuksköterskan. / Background: The nurse's perspective regarding care for the patient is well elucidated, while the patient perspective is still not as well researched within. To be able to apply good nursing, broad aspects are needed from both patient and nurse. Aim: The aim of the study was to elucidate patients' perspectives on the nurse's caring within adultpsychiatric inpatient wards. Method: A systematic literature study was conductedaccording to Bettany-Saltikov and McSherry (2016). After a systematic review andanalysis, 28 scientific articles were included. Results: Five categories were identifiedbased on the patient's experience of the nurse's caring: (1) The importance of arespectful relationship between patient and nurse, (2) The importance of being seenas a whole person, (3) The importance of the nurse's empathic approach, (4) The importance of inviting communication and (5) The importance of being able to accessinformation about one’s care. Conclusion: The literature study highlights the importance of the nurse's commitment and empathy which contributes to the partnership between patient and nurse and creating feelings of being safe for the patient. The importance of the nurse's empathic ability makes it possible to see the patient where the patient is, instead of assuming what the patient experiences and wishes. There are knowledge gaps in how patients experience the nurse's care. Implication: The result can be used by all nursing staff to create good relationshipsand develop the work for better care. Further research is needed as the result hasshown knowledge gaps by the nurse.
