The purpose of this paper was to look into the procedural requirements for any other socially destructive behavior in 3§ in the Care of Young Persons act (LVU). A selection of 30 acts, from an administrative court in Sweden 2017, which resulted in 6 court cases that were analysed more closely. Content analyses is the method that was used to investigate the empirical material and look for common themes. The theoretical tool for this study was social constructionism and an intersectional perspective was used to complement the theory. 6 common themes, from the 6 court cases, were presented in the analysis and result to describe any other socially destructive behavior, in order to what the law says, as well as how the administrative court described why an adolescent should be taken into custody. In summary, the analysis showed a wide interpretation of the significance of any other socially destructive behavior and that these interpretations were not always consistent with the law itself.
