Previous issue date: 2017 / A consolidação da noção de economia como um sinônimo para o mercado autorregulado fez com que lhe fossem subordinadas todas as formas de manifestação humana, e com a produção da área da cultura não foi diferente. Nas representações atuais, o artista é considerado como um possível trabalhador do futuro, um empreendedor, intrinsecamente motivado, e mais exposto aos riscos de concorrência interindividual e às novas inseguranças das trajetórias profissionais. Nesse sentido, objetivou-se compreender e analisar às possíveis relações existentes entre o contexto de trabalho artístico na região da grande Florianópolis, e vivências de prazer-sofrimento dos trabalhadores nele inseridos, tendo em vista o processo de mercantilização da cultura. A partir do aporte teórico da psicodinâmica do trabalho e de literaturas concernentes à economia da cultura, o estudo discute diferentes dimensões presentes na psicodinâmica do trabalho artístico, a saber: organização do trabalho; mobilização subjetiva; prazer e sofrimento; e estratégias de defesas. Participaram desta pesquisa, quatro artistas atuantes na região da grande Florianópolis. Para a delimitação do grupo de artistas, aplicou-se um questionário elaborado com base nos pressupostos de Thorsby (2001b) e FGV (2015) , e realizou-se uma entrevista semiestruturada, a respeito da história e trajetória profissional de cada artista. Após a delimitação do grupo de artistas participantes desta investigação, realizou-se três entrevistas semiestruturadas com cada um dos artistas e observações de suas rotinas de trabalho. As entrevistas foram gravadas, transcritas e submetidas à análise de conteúdo categorial temática, conforme proposto por Bardin (2016). Verificou-se que o trabalho artístico é uma atividade marcada por um forte engajamento subjetivo, flexibilização das condições de trabalho e por vínculos cada vez mais remotos com a organização do trabalho. Observou-se também, que o processo de mercantilização da cultura parece influenciar na vivência de sofrimento destes trabalhadores, a dificultar a subversão do sofrimento em prazer e possibilitar a instalação do sofrimento patogênico. / Abstract: The consolidation of the notion of economy as a synonym for the self-regulated market made it subordinate to all forms of human manifestation, and with the production of the area of culture was no different. In the present representations, the artist is considered as a possible worker of the future, an entrepreneur, intrinsically motivated, and more exposed to the risks of interindividual competition and the new insecurities of the professional trajectories. In this sense, the objective was to understand and analyze the possible relations existing between the artistic work context in the region of Florianópolis, and experiences of pleasure and suffering of the workers inserted in it, considering the process of commercialization of culture. From the theoretical contribution of work psychodynamics and literature concerning the economics of culture, the study discusses different dimensions present in the psychodynamics of artistic work, namely: work organization; Subjective mobilization; Pleasure and suffering; And strategies of defenses. Four artists from the region of Florianópolis participated in this research. For the delimitation of the group of artists, a questionnaire elaborated based on the assumptions of Thorsby (2001b) and FGV (2015) was applied, and a semi-structured interview was conducted, regarding the history and professional trajectory of each artist. After the delimitation of the group of artists participating in this research, three semi-structured interviews were conducted with each of the artists and observations of their work routines. The interviews were recorded, transcribed and submitted to the analysis of thematic categorical content, as proposed by Bardin (2016). It was verified that the artistic work is an activity marked by a strong subjective engagement, flexibilization of working conditions and by increasingly remote links with the organization of work. It was also observed that the process of commodification of culture seems to influence the suffering of these workers, to make it difficult to subvert suffering to pleasure and to allow the installation of pathogenic suffering.
