Previous issue date: 28 / Nenhuma / O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de trazer uma compreensão das diversas entidades familiares no Direito contemporâneo brasileiro. A família, inicialmente forma específica de agregação humana asseguradora da sobrevivência, modificou-se ao longo dos ciclos de vida, dos contextos culturais e dos conflitos interpessoais e ainda tem passado por transformações que correspondem às mudanças sofridas pela sociedade. Destaca-se como entidade mutável, pois vem se alterando e estruturando nos últimos tempos, fato que impossibilita identificá-la com um modelo único ou ideal. No sistema clássico originário da Codificação Civil de 1916, o modelo familiar desenhado atendia a uma perspectiva institucional da família, na qual avultava o caráter patriarcal e hierarquizado, com a proteção exclusiva das entidades familiares centradas unicamente no matrimônio. Diante da necessidade de adaptação de soluções para os descompassos e conflitos surgidos, especialmente, na seara das relações familiares, o Direito Civil tradicional vai / The present work has the objective of bring an understanding of the several family entities in the Brazilian contemporary Right. The families, initially specific form of human aggregation insurer of the survival, they modified along the life cycles, of the cultural contexts and of the conflicts between people and, they have still been going by transformations that correspond to the changes suffered by the society. They stand out as changeable entities, because they come if altering and structuring in the last times, fact that disables to identify them with an only or ideal model.
