There has previously been research into teaching methods that contribute and help students with learning difficulties in their mathematics learning. On the other hand, research on whether digital teacher resources contribute to and influence the mathematics learning of students with learning difficulties is limited. In this systematic literature study, learning difficulties include students with mathematics difficulties and/or autism spectrum disorders. The purpose of this literature study was to contribute with research on what new opportunities are added for students with learning difficulties when digital learning resources are used in mathematics teaching. The aim was also to investigate what new possibilities are added to teaching by teachers implementing digital learning resources. The purpose has been investigated through the questions: How do digital learning resources affect the learning process of students with learning difficulties in mathematics? and How do digital learning resources affect teachers' teaching of mathematics for students with learning difficulties? In order to answer the questions, systematic searches have been carried out to find relevant scientific studies which have then been analyzed through a thematic analysis. The results revealed several advantages such as increased student engagement and independence. It also proved to be beneficial for teachers and the design of the teaching.
