Previous issue date: 2013-07-19 / CAPEs / Historicamente a psicologia tem construído teorias e práticas normalizadoras, distanciando-se das realidades locais e negligenciando em suas ações e produções a problematização crítica do gênero e da sexualidade enquanto categorias fundamentais para a compreensão das subjetividades e dos contextos de micro e macro produção das mesmas. Em contrapartida, os feminismos no Brasil e no mundo ocidental tem questionado nos espaços acadêmicos e políticos as normalizações impostas sobre as mulheres e as relações de gênero. Busca-se, portanto, compreender as tensões e interfaces entre a psicologia acadêmica e os estudos feministas e de gênero na cidade do Recife, a partir de uma pesquisa de orientação feminista de caráter qualitativo. Foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com cinco interlocutoras(es) que tiveram formação ou atuaram academicamente na psicologia no Recife e que produzem no campo dos estudos feministas e de gênero. Os relatos versam sobre as mudanças epistemológicas que possibilitaram a aproximação da psicologia com os feminismos, as experiências pessoais e profissionais de encontro das(os) interlocutoras(es) com as militâncias ou estudos feministas, as relações entre ciência e militância e os processos de circulação de teorias em contextos locais e globais. Além das entrevistas, foram analisadas as publicações recifenses da psicologia nas versões eletrônicas dos dois principais periódicos científicos feministas do país. As análises buscaram investigar as principais temáticas produzidas e paradigmas científicos norteadores de pesquisa e produção. Foi possível compreender que os processos de circulação e migração das(os) interlocutoras(es) a outros estados ou países possibilitaram os encontros entre suas práticas acadêmicas e os estudos feministas e de gênero. O retorno dessas pessoas ao Recife tem ocasionado um maior diálogo entre a psicologia e os campos teórico e político feminista e de gênero. Estas questões de circulação e de produção de teorias e práticas na academia nos remetem ao debate sobre saber-poder, fortalecendo a crítica feminista do quanto a produção acadêmica é política e posicionada. / Historically, the psychology has being constructing normalizing theories and practices, dissociating itself from the local reality and neglecting, in its productions and actions, the critic problematic of sexuality and gender as fundamental categories for the comprehension of the subjectivities and its contexts for micro and macro productions. However, the feminism in Brazil and in the occidental world has being questioning, academically and politically, the enforced normalization on women and on the gender relations. Therefore, it’s aimed to understand the tensions and interfaces between the academic psychology and the feminism and gender studies in Recife, with a qualitative research based on the feminism. There were conducted five semi-structured interviews with five interlocutors that graduated or are studying psychology and product academically in the field of feminism or gender in Recife. The reports speak about the epistemological changes that allowed the forthcoming of academic psychology and the feminisms, the personal and professional experiences that took the interlocutor to the militancy or feminism study, the relation between science and militancy, and the process of local and worldwide circulation of the theories. Among the interviews, were analyzed local virtual publications in the two most important feminist academic journal of the country. The analyses intended to investigate the main produced themes and scientific paradigms that guide research and production. It was possible to comprehend that the circulation and migration processes of the interlocutors to other States and Countries made possible the meeting between the academic practices and the feminists and gender studies, The return of these people to Recife made possible a bigger dialogue between psychology, politics, feminism and gender, These discussions about circulation and production of theories and practices in academy make reference to the discussion of knowledge-power, strengthening the feminist critic about how the academic production is politicized and directed.
