O objetivo desse estudo foi acompanhar as trajetórias cotidianas dos jovens e avaliar como estes atribuem significado ou dão sentido a essas trajetórias, face as transformações econômicas e sociais ocorridas à agricultura familiar. Para tanto, tomo como referência importante para identificar e interpretar a condição juvenil no âmbito dessas transformações, os espaços tradicionais de socialização, tais como a escola e a família. A pesquisa foi realizada com jovens do município de Saudades, região oeste do estado de Santa Catarina, caracterizada por pequenas propriedades de economia familiar, cuja colonização se deu no século passado por famílias de origem germânicas, oriundas principalmente do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. A interpretação dessa realidade exigiu a compreensão das situações que compõem a vida cotidiana dos sujeitos pesquisados, isto é, de suas relações mais imediatas e regulares, de seus contextos individuais e, sobretudo, de seus projetos de vida e trajetórias. Além desse aspecto, tornou-se primordial entender em suas enunciações, os significados atribuídos a esses caminhos percorridos cotidianamente.
At this time, I would like to talk about the young people that live in the context of the familiar agriculture in the west of Santa Catarina. The purpose of this study was to follow the young quotidian trajectory. In order to evaluate how they attribute meaning and feel about their way of life, facing the economic and social transformation that happened in their familiar agriculture. However, it is an important reference to identify and interpret the juvenile condition in the habitat of these transformations; the traditional spaces of socialization through school and family. The search was made with young people from Saudades, The West Region of Santa Catarina characterized by simple proprieties of familiar economic value, which was colonized one century ago by German families that came from Rio Grande do Sul. The interpretation of this reality demanded the understanding of the situations that compose the daily life of the searched citizens. That is, of all of its more immediate and regular relations, of its individual contexts and of its projects of life and trajectories. Beyond this aspect, one became primordial to understand in its articulations, the meanings attributed to these covered ways daily.
