Previous issue date: 2014-04-14 / Sem bolsa / Este trabalho investigou as práticas de professores na Universidade Federal de Pelotas que utilizam as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) em suas aulas, nos cursos de graduação. Utilizando as teorias de Lévy, Castells, Kenski, Gutiérrez, Penteado, Porto, Cunha e Behrens, as práticas dos professores foram analisadas, pesquisando os fatores que são importantes para influenciar estes processos. A pesquisa foi efetuada em duas etapas: na primeira, foi aplicado um questionário online entre os docentes da UFPel, para diagnosticar o uso das TIC por eles. Na segunda, foi realizado um estudo de caso do tipo etnográfico, com um grupo de dez professores da graduação, entre os indicados por seus pares, para investigar suas práticas de ensino com as TIC. As técnicas de pesquisa utilizadas foram: entrevistas, observações das aulas e análise de documentos. Na análise dos dados organizei os resultados em quatro dimensões teórico-práticas: os docentes da UFPel, a relação dos docentes com as tecnologias, a infraestrutura da UFPel para as TIC, e a prática docente com as TIC. Os resultados indicam que os docentes pesquisados estão utilizando as TIC no ensino, em três situações: no ensino tradicional, no ensino comunicacional e no ensino em ambiente colaborativo. Embora os docentes tenham apresentado predominância de uma das situações identificadas, as características das outras situações também aparecem, por vezes, em seus trabalhos. / This study investigated the practices of professors at the Federal University of Pelotas who use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in their classes in undergraduate courses. Using the theories of Lévy, Castells, Kenski, Gutiérrez, Penteado, Porto, Cunha and Behrens, professors' practices were analyzed in search of the factors that are important to influence on these processes. The research was conducted in two stages. At first, an online questionnaire among professors of the University was applied to diagnose the use of ICT by them. In the second phase, an ethnographic case study was conducted with a group of ten Graduation professors nominated by their colleagues, to investigate their teaching practices with ICT. At this stage the research techniques used were interviews, observation of lessons and document analysis. When analyzing the data, four categories emerged: professors of UFPel, the relationship of professors with the technology, the infrastructure of UFPel ICT and teaching practice with ICT. The results show that the teachers surveyed are using ICT in education in three situations: traditional teaching; communicational teaching and collaborative teaching. Although teachers have shown a predominance of either one of the identified situations, characteristics of other situations may also appear sometimes in their work.
