Previous issue date: 2011-05-13 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This work is a reflection about the conflicts in the region of Ibiraquera, between the municipalities of Garopaba and Imbituba / SC, intensified after the 1970s with the growth of tourist flow and the intensification of appropriation in relation to the environment, and from this, several related issues: the tensions surrounding land ownership, the notion of belonging and cultural identity. Initially this study was directed towards the creation of an Extractive Reserve in the region and the conflicts generated by the process, however, I realized that this issue shows a series of earlier conflicts: agrarian, identity struggles, disputes for property, neglect with the environment, property speculation, in other words, questions in the order of political cultures. Finally, I seek to understand the social setting that scene put the issue of the Extractive Reserve (RESEX) prioritizing contacts and cultural conflicts engendered from your planning and deployment efforts / Este trabalho consiste em uma reflexão sobre os conflitos existentes na região de Ibiraquera, entre os municípios de Garopaba e Imbituba/SC, intensificados após a década de 1970 com o crescimento do fluxo turístico e o acirramento das apropriações em relação ao meio ambiente e, a partir disso, de diversas questões conexas: as tensões que envolvem a propriedade da terra; a noção de pertencimento e de identidade cultural. A princípio este estudo estava voltado para a criação de uma Reserva Extrativista na região e os conflitos gerados pelo processo, porém, percebi que essa questão colocava em tela uma série de conflitos mais antigos: agrários, lutas identitárias, disputas por propriedades, relações com o meio ambiente, especulação imobiliária e culturas políticas. Redimensionada a temática, procuro abranger conflitos e litígios que transtornaram a região durante a intensificação do fluxo turístico. Por último, busco compreender a configuração social que colocou cena a problemática da Reserva Extrativista (RESEX), priorizando os contatos e conflitos culturais engendrados a partir do seu planejamento e tentativas de implantação
