Refletindo sobre questões relacionadas a certa mitificação da figura do imigrante alemão e de sua identidade cultural, à luz da teoria pós-colonialista, discutem-se não somente questões estruturais do romance, mas em especial a formação da identidade do imigrante alemão, presente no imaginário da região como exemplo de força cultural e de trabalho superior aos não imigrantes. Dessa forma, este trabalho, além de articular uma discussão entre ficção e confissão, focaliza as relações entre retratos de época e resgates da história, ou seja, as fronteiras e limiares entre ficção e história.<br> / Abstract : The present research project is the analysis of one of the narrations that describes the German colonization at Vale do Itajai, in Santa Catarina, the novel "O guarda-roupa alemao", written by Lausimar Laus and published in 1975. Such research project considers and discusses about the German immigrant mystification issues and his culture identity. In this ase, the main purpose is analyzing the novel under Post-Colonial Theory view, involving not just the novel.s esthetical and structural issues, but also to search subsidies in the novel. It allows a reflexion about the German immigrant identity formation as a higher cultural and work strength myth if compared with the non immigrants. Thus the present research project focuses on the relationship among the portraits of that time, historical immigrants personal memories, historical traces, fiction and history borders and thresholds as well as to articulate a discussion between fiction and confession.
