Jag vill sitta still : En studie om hur pedagoger bemöter och anpassar sin undervisning för elever med koncentrationssvårigheter / I Want to Sit Still : A study about how teachers treat pupils with concentration difficulties and how they make adjustments in their teaching

The aim of this study is to illustrate how two teachers working in different environments treat and make adaptations for pupils with concentration difficulties. By using observations and interviews , the teachers’ perceptions of positive and well functioning adaptations have been  clarified.  The results show that the way teachers treat the pupils play a crucial role for a succesful result. The study also shows that teachers by using small means can make many valuable adaptations in the physical learning environment. Many of the good examples that are mentioned aret o a large extent supported by research.  The education kan be performed and adapted in many diferent ways, but there is no certain right or wrong. The education can not be formed in the same way för all pupils, because every single pupil needs adaptations with regards to their specific needs. It is of importance that further research is made in this field because no proof of the main cause of ADHD/concentrations difficulties  have been found.
