O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a Gestão Democrática em uma
Escola Comunitária em zona urbana do município de Tefé. A Gestão Democrática
em um ambiente escolar é segundo os diversos especialistas um ato de civismo e
cidadania, neste contexto é que se resolveu investigar quais os problemas que
interferem para sua efetivação dentro de um ambiente de aprendizagem. Os
resultados obtidos remontam destacar que a gestão democrática da escola
pesquisada é praticamente inexistente e que diversos fatores têm contribuído para
este fenômeno. Dentre os principais destacam-se a gestão tradicional imposta pelo
seu representante maior, a falta do Projeto Pedagógico, o pouco envolvimento do
corpo docente e comunidade, sendo que estes últimos se limitam quase sempre a
frequentar a escola somente em reuniões de entrega de notas. Outro agravante é a
instalação física da escola, que ainda não conta com laboratório de informática e
também sem uma biblioteca. Como sugestão é preciso que se repense a política
educacional dedicada a esta comunidade escolar, caso contrário os mesmos
continuarão privados de direitos básicos como o democrático e o participativo, visto
que não somente os recursos materiais ajudam na boa aprendizagem, mas o fazer
pedagógico orientado e direcionado por seu dirigente maior, a saber, o gestor
escolar. / This study aims to investigate the Democratic Management in a Community School
in the urban area in Tefé. According to many experts, Democratic Management in a
school environment is an act of civility and citizenship, so the problems that interfere
for its effectiveness in the learning environment were investigated. The results
showed that Democratic Management in the studied almost does not exist and a lot
of factors have been contributing to the phenomenon. Among the main ones are the
traditional management stipulated by its chairman, the lack of a pedagogical project,
the lack of interest by the teachers group and community, which goes to the school
only to receive the students grades. Another problem is also the school facility where
there is not a computer laboratory, nor a library. As suggestion, it is necessary to
think about the educational politics dedicated to that scholar community, otherwise
the citizens still will keep on living without their basic rights as the democratic and
participatory one, regarding to not only the material resources help for a good
learning process, but also the pedagogical activities oriented and directed by its
chairman, the school manager.
