Bakgrund: Stroke är den näst vanligaste dödsorsaken i världen och den tredje vanligaste orsaken till funktionsnedsättning. Sjuksköterskor har en viktig roll inom strokeomvårdnad där de tillsammans med anhöriga och patienter försöker förebygga sjukdom och lindra lidande. Från ett omvårdnadsperspektiv är det viktigt med tidig behandling, mobilisering och rehabilitering. Empowerment teorin kan användas för att främja en vård med fokus på patientens egen kraft till levnadsförändringar. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda strokepatienter. Metod: Den design som valdes var en litteraturöversikt med kvalitativa artiklar och en induktiv ansats. Det inkluderades 15 artiklar till resultatet och Fribergs femstegsmodell användes till analysen. Resultat: I resultatet framkom två teman med totalt fem subteman. Det första temat var ”Betydelsen av relationsskapande i strokevården” med subteman “Att kommunicera med patienter”, “Att ge patienten hopp” och “Att se anhöriga som en resurs”. Det andra temat var ” Arbetsmiljöns betydelse för en god strokevård” med de två subteman, “Vikten av att känna uppskattning och “Vikten av teamsamverkan”. Slutsats: Litteraturstudien visar att sjuksköterskors kommunikation och samarbete i team är avgörande för patientens välbefinnande. Sjuksköterskans förmåga att lyssna och engagera sig för patienten är grundläggande för en positiv vårdmiljö. Inkludering och stöd av anhöriga är viktigt för att säkerställa högre vårdkvalitet. En god teamsamverkan krävs även för främjandet av empowerment. Fortsatt utbildning om strokeomvårdnad, kommunikationstekniker och organisatoriskt stöd behövs för att förbättra kommunikation och teamsamarbete bland sjuksköterskor. Nurses play a crucial role in stroke care, working alongside patients and families to prevent disease and alleviate suffering. From a nursing perspective, early treatment, mobilization, and rehabilitation are vital. The empowerment theory can be used to promote care with a focus on the patient's own power to make lifestyle changes. Aim: The aim was to describe nurses' experiences in caring for stroke patients. Method: The chosen design was a literature review with qualitative articles and an inductive approach. Fifteen articles were included in the results, and Friberg's five-step model was used for analysis. Results: The results revealed two themes with a total of five sub-themes. The first theme was "The importance of relationship building in stroke care" with the subthemes "Communicating with patients", "Giving the patient hope" and "Seeing relatives as a resource". The second theme was "The importance of the work environment for good stroke care" with the two subthemes, "The importance of feeling appreciated and "The importance of team collaboration Conclusion: The literature review demonstrates that nurses' communication and teamwork are crucial for patient well-being. Nurses' ability to listen and engage with patients is fundamental to a positive care environment. Inclusion and support of family members are essential to ensure higher quality of care. Effective teamwork is also necessary for promoting empowerment. Continued education on stroke care, communication techniques and organizational support are needed to improve communication and teamwork among nurses.
