Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / A presente dissertação é um estudo sobre a transcendentalidade humana. Aborda o
caráter ontológico/cultural da transcendência e sua apreensão e manifestação
através de dimensões contempláveis, de aspectos edificáveis e categorias
compartilháveis. A partir dos elementos que o autor chama de meios de
transcendência, procura traçar algumas relações da transcendência com a
educação, tendo por principal interlocutor Paulo Freire. Ao longo do trabalho busca
responder algumas questões sobre a temática da transcendência em relação à
educação. No primeiro capítulo aborda a questão mais central da pesquisa: o ser
humano como um ser de transcendência. Nesta discussão entraram as questões
corolárias da transcendência como ontologia ou processo cultural e também a
relação dinâmica e essencial entre transcendência e imanência humanas. No
decorrer da pesquisa se mostrou necessária uma analogia entre os termos
transcendência e sagrado, visto que este segundo demonstrou possuir similaridades
de significado e, por isto, se tornou passível de análise para possível distinção e
para poder traçar prováveis pontos de afinidade. No segundo capítulo o autor intenta
responder mais especificamente as questões ligadas à educação e à sua relação
com a capacidade humana de transcendência, tendo o pedagogo Paulo Freire como
referencial para este diálogo. A partir deste viés investiga em Freire os meios de
transcendência que encontram seus pares arrolados no primeiro capítulo, prisma a
partir do qual parte para a reflexão sobre a função da educação em relação à
incompletude, à inquietude e a amplitude humanas. / The present dissertation is a study about the human transcendence. It broaches the
cultural/ontological character of the transcendence and its apprehension and
manifestation through ponderable dimensions, of constructible aspects and sharing
categories. Starting from the elements which the author calls "transcendence
means", it aims, having as main speaker Paulo Freire, tracing some relations of the
transcendence with the education. Throughout the work it aims answering some
questions about the transcendence theme in relation to the education. In the first
chapter it broaches the most central question of the investigation: the human being
as a being of transcendence. In this discussion were included the consequent
questions of transcendence as ontology or cultural process and the essential and
dynamical relation between human transcendence and immanence too. Along the
investigation it was shown to be necessary an analogy between the terms
transcendence and sacred, noticed that this second one demonstrated to hold
meaning similarities, and therefore, it became analysis subject for possible distinction
and in order to trace probable affinity points. In the second chapter, having the
pedagogue Paulo Freire as a reference for this dialogue the author intends
answering the questions related to the education and its relation with the human
transcendence ability more specifically. Starting from this slant it investigates in
Freire the transcendence means that find their matches enlisted in the first chapter,
viewpoint from which the reflection about the function of the education in relation to
the incompleteness, to the human amplitude and inquietude start.
