Previous issue date: 2014 / Abstract : The health worker is extensive and multifaceted, including the prevention of health problems caused by job-related accidents and occupational diseases, and all aspects that link the work and health. The teams of occupational health and safety need to discuss mechanisms of action to better management of the area under their responsibility. Furthermore, it has to be constantly alert and ready for the needs that emerge and even to anticipate situations in order to act with resolution and effectiveness. In this context, it is necessary to work in a dynamic where each of the participants contributes with its professional expertise, and mediated by dialogue, here the team can perform a continuous exchange of knowledge in order to find the best way of acting, making vital the updated knowledge. The qualification of staff health and safety of the work for change in work processes from a logic of integrated care, when provided by a problem-based education can provide spaces for dialogue and resolution of problem situations. To form this new profile of workers, the corporate education programs have been employing models that no longer advocate the simple transmission of content, but teaching-learning with meaningful, contextualized, critical and participatory tools. From this perspective, the objective of this study was to analyze the development of a problematizing education action in a corporate space along with an occupational health and safety team of a Brazilian electricity company. This is a convergent-care research - CCR, a qualitative approach based on the theoretical framework of Paulo Freire and developed through the Arch of Charles Maguerez. This research took place from the development of a corporate action problematizing education developed in five meetings with the health staff and safety of Eletrosul interleaved in their working environment, with 12 participants. The speeches and dialogues of the participants were the primary source of data, and qualitative data analysis was performed based on content analysis. The results were presented in two manuscripts - the first deals with the development of a problematizing education action in a corporate space along with an occupational health and safety team, and the second one deals with themes that emerged in the conversations, related to the importance of teamwork for a staff health and safety. Finally, it was possible to confirm the viability of implementing a problem-based corporate education, the results showed the recovery of workers, strengthen dialogue and exchange of knowledge, the pursuit of contextualized solutions and transform reality with the low cost and attending needs of both the company and workers of the team.
