O presente trabalho procura avaliar o sistema de informações FPE – Finanças Públicas Estaduais – que doravante chamarei de FPE, medindo-o através do nível de satisfação de seus usuários, ou seja, dos colaboradores da CAGE. O referencial teórico estudado neste trabalho conta com pesquisa bibliográfica sobre os respectivos temas: Os Sistemas de informações Gerenciais nas organizações, a Controladoria e seu papel nas organizações e a Avaliação de Sistemas de Informações. Levando-se em conta a importância dos sistemas de informação nas organizações, principalmente em órgãos públicos estaduais como o caso da CAGE, torna-se primordial a avaliação destes sistemas a fim de demonstrar seu sucesso e garantir a sua continuidade, bem como fundamentar possíveis mudanças em sua estrutura, se necessário. O método aplicado para avaliação do sistema FPE é baseado na satisfação dos usuários finais do sistema e na verificação do cumprimento dos fatores chave de sucesso do órgão. Deste modo, a pesquisa tem o objetivos de medir o impacto no usuário final do sistema FPE e o seu papel no cumprimento dos objetivos da organização em questão – CAGE – identificando os resultados alcançados com a utilização do sistema. / This paper aims at evaluating the FPE information system used in CAGE – The General State Auditing and Accounting Department – by measuring the level of satisfaction of its users, the collaborators of CAGE. The theoretical references of this paper consist of a bibliographical research about the following themes: The Managing Information Systems in organizations, the Control Department and its role in organizations and the Evaluation of Information Systems. Considering the importance of information systems in organizations, mainly in state public departments as CAGE, the evaluation of these systems becomes essential so as to demonstrate its success and guarantee its continuity, as well as found possible changes in its structure, if necessary. The method applied for the evaluation of the FPE system is based on the satisfaction of its end users and on the verification of the achievement of the key factors of success of the department. Thus, the research has as objective to measure the impact of the end user of the FPE system and its role in the achievement of these objectives in the organization – CAGE – identifying the results obtained with the use of the system.
