Detta projekt är en förskola för ca. 40-50 barn och 10 anställda, belägen i kvarteret Framnäs i Solna. Tomten ligger i korsningen Gustafsvägen/Charlottenburgsvägen. En utgångspunkt i projektet är att förhålla sig till att tomten har en relativt liten yta och att byggnaden får utgöra maximalt 30% av tomtytan. Projektet är en byggnad i tre våningar som delar av tomten i nord-sydlig riktning. Den naturliga topografin förstärks så att en terassering skapas. Detta ger en övre gårdaplan i öst, och en lägre gårdsplan i väst. Dessa gårdar får sol på förmiddagen respektive eftermiddagen. De två gårdarna förbinds genom en trappa som skär genom byggnaden. En takterass som nås från tredje våningen ger ytterligare en utemiljö för olika aktiviteter. Materialet i nedre våningen är betong för att skapa en stabil bas. De två övre våningarna är i massivträ med en liggande träfasad. / This project is a preschool for about 40-50 children and 10 employees , located in the neighborhood Framnäs in Solna. The plot is situated at the intersection Gustafsvägen / Charlottenburgsvägen. A starting point of the project is to relate to that the plot has a relatively small area and that the building may comprise a maximum of 30% of the land surface. The project is a building of three floors which partitions the site in a north- south direction. The natural topography is strengthened to create a terracing. This provides an upper yard in the East, and a lower yard in the West. These yards gets sun in the morning and afternoon respectively. The two yards are connected by a staircase that cuts through the building. A roof terrace which is accessed from the third floor provides an additional outdoor environment for various activities. The material in the lower floor is concrete to create a stable base. The two upper floors are made of solid wood with a horizontal wooden facade.
