Previous issue date: 2015 / O objetivo principal da presente dissertação foi identificar os diferentes pensamentos que os moradores de Urussanga/SC possuem em relação ao patrimônio presente no município, dotado de uma arquitetura que testemunha a imigração italiana no Estado. É muito comum no município, ouvir que o patrimônio é um atraso para o desenvolvimento da cidade e isso motivou a pesquisa. Representação Social é o nome da teoria utilizada para o entendimento do fenômeno. Desenvolvida por Serge Moscovici a partir de 1960, ela contribui para o entendimento de como o indivíduo assimila os assuntos do cotidiano. Através do instrumento entrevista, fazendo uso principalmente de perguntas abertas, foi possível coletar os depoimentos de cerca de 50 moradores locais que circularam pela área central, local onde estão inseridas as edificações tombadas. Para a análise do material coletado foi utilizado o método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo, pois permite formar um discurso que representa o pensamento de uma coletividade. Além do estudo junto aos moradores locais, no decorrer da pesquisa viu-se a necessidade de abordar a trajetória da preservação do patrimônio em Santa Catarina e essencialmente, a atuação da Fundação Catarinense de Cultura. Entrevistas também foram realizadas com os agentes do campo do patrimônio, que se configuram como representantes de municípios e Instituições. Como resultado da pesquisa foi possível perceber que o patrimônio acaba submetido a vontades políticas e interesses individuais que se sobrepõem ao interesse coletivo. Mas é possível afirmar que o resultado do estudo junto aos moradores locais permite sermos mais otimistas, uma vez que, em grande parte, os entrevistados reconhecem o patrimônio como forte elemento de suas identidades e desejam a sua preservação. E diferente da informação que se tinha no início da pesquisa, é o estado de abandono de algumas edificações que eles identificam como estando na contramão do desenvolvimento.<br> / Abstract : The main objective of this dissertation was to identify the different thoughts that the residents of Urussanga/SC have in relation to this heritage in the municipality, endowed with an architecture that witness the Italian immigration in the State. It is very common in the city, hear that equity is a setback for the development of the city and that prompted the search. Social representation theory is the name used for the understanding of the phenomenon. Developed by Serge Moscovici from 1960, it contributes to the understanding of how the person assimilates the Affairs of everyday life. Through the interview instrument, making use especially of open-ended questions, it was possible to collect the testimony of about 50 local residentes that circulated through the central área, where are located the buildings toppled. For the analysis of the material collected was used the method of the collective subject discourse, Since form a speech that represents the thinking of a collective. Besides the study along with local residents, in the course of the research was the need to address the preservation of heritage in Santa Catarina and essentially, the performance of Santa Catarina Culture Foundation. Interviews were also held with the heritage field agents, are as representatives of municipalities and institutions. As a result of the research it was possible to notice that equity has just undergone political wills and individual interests that overlap to the collective interest. But it is possible to affirm that the result of the study
with the local residents to be more optimistic, allows a time, largely, respondents recognise the heritage as a strong element of their identity and wish to its preservation. And other than the information you had at the beginning of the survey, is the State of disrepair of some buildings that they identify as being against the development.
