Samhället står idag inför en ökande mängd luftföroreningar. Med detta projekt har mitt mål varit att bidra med en möjlig lösning på problemet. Jag har valt att avgränsa mig till större städer där problemet är som mest påtagligt. Genom att rikta in mig på användare utav Brompton cykeln, har jag skapat en ryggsäck med syfte att kunna förvara cykeln på ryggen under pendling med kollektivtrafiken. Målet är att få människor att inse möjligheten med kollektivtrafik som komplement till cykling. Med detta hoppas jag kunna bidra till att uppnå en påtaglig minskning utav koldioxidutsläpp, så väl som att skapa en bättre hälsa hos människor i storstäder. Ryggsäcken har ett hårt skal utav bambu, med en innerväska i tyg som expanderas vid öppnandet av dragkedjorna och rymmer cykeln inuti ryggsäcken. Detta gör att du kan bära cykeln på ryggen och ha fria händer, när du reser ombord på bussar, tåg, tunnelbana eller båt. / As of today, we live in a world with an increasing amount of air pollution. Through this project, my mission has been to contribute with a potential solution to the problem. I´ve chosen to delimitate the project to bigger cities, in which the problem is the most noticeable. Targeting the users of Brompton bike I have created a backpack, with a main purpose of storing the bike on your back, whilst commuting by public transport. By getting people to realise the possibility of public transport as a complement to biking, I hope this will help to achieve a substantial reduction in carbon dioxide emissions as well as a creating a better health of people in bigger cities. The backpack is a hard case made out of bamboo, with an inner bag of textile which expands whilst opening the zippers of the backpack, and have the capacity of containing the bike inside. This enables you to carry the bike on your back and have your hands free, while travelling by bus, trains, metro or boat.
